The thing with Super Duty trucks is that you either go big, or don't bother at all. Everything about John's 2006 F350 and its 6.0L Powerstroke was big, loud, proud, and certainly in charge. This diesel truck ran around with an impressive list of upgrades that were based around a powerful set of tuning from our friends over at Diablosport. The truck featured a Trinity tuner and dashboard monitor that loaded this towering pickup with a tune that easily reached 100 horsepower and nearly 200 lb-ft of torque. To support the tune, John threw on an Airaid CAI and Black Stacks kit from MBRP to keep the 6.0L's exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs) in check.
Capping off the ridiculous amount of power, was an off-road suspension overhaul from Fabtech that included an 8" performance lift kit and steering stabilizers along with 37" Toyo Open Country Tires wrapped around 20x9" Diamo wheels.
The truck wasn't lacking in the exterior parts department either with a good bunch of upgrades and accessories that made this truck one of the most aggressive looking around. The truck had a Cervini's Ram Air Hood, billet grille, and Amp Research side steps. Lighting was provided by 55w 6k HIDs in both the the headlights and fog lights, while a full suite of Recon smoked brake lights and tail lights made up the rear. Finishing out the exterior were a Stage 3 Off-Road promo wrap around the tailgate and Stage 3 Off-Road lettering down its flanks.
Surprisingly, John didn't have to invest in any EGR upgrades or cylinder head improvements like most other 6.0L Powerstroke owners running high-level tuning. Go figure.
