The 2009 to 2010 F150s still look good, but their 4.6L and 5.4L V8 engines have been largely overshadowed by the newer F150 engines. That being said, there's still a lot of life left in these excellent trucks, and we here at Stage 3 Motorsports can help you bring out the best of your 2009-2010 F150. The aftermarket is full of 2009-2010 4.6L F150 Cold Air intakes, 2009-2010 5.4L F150 Cold Air Intakes, Exhaust Systems, Headers and much more.

2009 to 2010 F150 4.6L and 5.4L V8 Aftermarket Parts FAQ

While not packing as much punch as some of the newer F150s, the 5.4L and 4.6L V8s of the 2009 to 2010 F150s have a good amount of life in them, and you can still have a ton of fun in these awesome trucks with just a few F150 performance parts from Stage 3 Motorsports. We carry a large lineup of intake, exhaust, exterior, and other upgrades that can easily make your truck the talk of the town and the envy of everyone else around. With just a few decent modifications, you can have a truck that can make you proud on both the street and the trail.

What should my first upgrade be?

A cold air intake. Hands down. Both the 5.4L Triton V8 and 4.6L Modular motors greatly benefit from the increased airflow of a CAI system. On average, a F150 5.4L cold air intake can give your truck a nice 10 to 15 horsepower bump in output. If you need even more power, then you should invest in one of our tuner and intake combination kits that give your 5.4L F150 or 4.6L F150 an even larger gain in horsepower than with just an intake or tuning alone.

How do I get a better exhaust sound?

A cat-back exhaust kit is the easiest and least costly way to go about it. We here at Stage 3 Motorsports have F150 cat-back kits that fit both the 5.4L and 4.6L engines to make things nice and easy. F150 5.4L cat-back kits, surprisingly, replace everything rearward of your mid-pipe and catalytic converters to get you a better exhaust tone in a street-legal package. Aftermarket F150 cat-backs feature new mufflers, larger and smoother tubing, and new exhaust tips that make your truck sound and look awesome. For both sound and power, you'll need a set of headers.

Got any lift kits?

By golly, I think we do. They're probably over in the lift and leveling kit section. All well-intentioned sarcasm aside, we have some pretty sweet options for your 2009 to 2010 F150, including everything from 2" leveling kits to bad boy 6" lift kits with high-performance coilovers. If you're looking to turn your truck into a real off-road machine, then you should take a look at our 6" lift kits that will allow you to throw on massive wheel and tire combinations and make your truck one of the most potent machines around. A daily driver that needs some more attitude would do well with one of Daystar's 2" leveling kits.

Do you have anything that makes CRAZY power?

Our Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger kit gets pretty crazy. This complete F150 supercharger kit can get your truck up to 478 horsepower and 504 lb-ft of torque. Combine this kit with a set of long tube headers, a matching mid-pipe, and some custom tuning, and you'll have one of the most wicked trucks around.

Power is good, but how do I make my truck look more awesome?

Throwing on a new set of lights is one of the best ways to get a great, new look. We have a whole bunch of DOT-approved headlights, taillights, and third brake lights from none other than Recon Lighting that will make your truck look awesome while it's on the pavement. When you decide to head off-road after the sun goes down, you should take a peek at our huge selection of off-road LED light bars from Rigid Industries. These light bars can take a beating and withstand practically everything you can throw at them. Top these lights off with a new billet grille and some other exterior parts, and you'll have one heck of a truck.
