Cold air intakes have long been the first "go-to" performance parts for new EcoBoost owners, and just about any aftermarket performance intake will do a better job of getting your 3.5L EcoBoost motor more charge air at cooler temperatures than the stock air box. Our most popular cold air intake for the F150 EcoBoosts is our aFe Stage 2 intakes with dual filters for both the 2011 EcoBoosts and 2012 to 2014 EcoBoosts. The aFe Stage 2 intakes provide a huge boost in airflow over the stock intake and are some of the few kits that come with a complete set of inlet tubing that connects to the turbocharger inlet tubes. If the aFe's aren't quite your thing, we have several other F150 EcoBoost cold air intake options that may better suit your palette and get you the looks, sound, power, and fuel economy gains that you're looking for. While an intake is a pretty decent upgrade, to get real power gains, you'll need to combine your intake of choice with some PCM tuning or even custom tuning from 5-Star which take advantage of your CAI's improved airflow to deliver even better power and fuel mileage gains. After you're through with our cold air intakes, go take a look at our F150 EcoBoost cat-back exhaust systems, F150 EcoBoost Performance Packages, or our F150 EcoBoost Spark Plugs.
Tuning is an entirely different story, and grabbing an intake in conjunction with a powerful performance tune can make a huge difference over your EcoBoost's stock air box. The extra airflow provided by any one of these intakes combines with the revised fueling parameters of the tuning to make a one-two punch of extra horsepower and torque for your awesome truck. We've even combined our best-selling aFe Stage 2 Cold Air Intakes with tuners and even custom tuning for a money-saving package that greatly improves your truck's performance.
