Tuning is an entirely different story, and grabbing an intake in conjunction with a powerful performance tune can make a huge difference over your EcoBoost's stock air box. The extra airflow provided by any one of these intakes combines with the revised fueling parameters of the tuning to make a one-two punch of extra horsepower and torque for your awesome truck. We've even combined our best-selling aFe Stage 2 Cold Air Intakes with tuners and even custom tuning for a money-saving package that greatly improves your truck's performance.
The following is a dyno run on our 2012 F150 FX4 EcoBoost Project truck running a 91 Octane Performance/Tow tune from 5-Star Tuning and a Banks Ram-AirŪ cold air intake. We gained around 76lb-ft of torque to the tires with a tune and intake alone.
