Drop-in Friction Disk Replacement that Holds More Power than Stock
The 2015-2017 2.3L EcoBoost Mustangs have a ton more horsepower easily in reach, and while their engines can handle it just fine and with gusto, driveline components down the way have a bit more trouble, especially on EcoBoost Ponies that are driven aggressively. While the stock flywheel and pressure plate are actually pretty decent, the factory friction disk can start to let you down when you stack on horsepower, torque, and aggressive driving. That's why our friends over at McLeod Clutches came up with their 600 Series Ceramic Friction Disc for the 2015-2017 2.3L EcoBoost Mustangs. The friction disc can handle higher horsepower and torque levels than stock without slipping, but because you keep the factory flywheel and pressure plate, you get near OEM engagement and pedal effort to keep your shifting nice and clean.

McLeod's 600-Series Friction Disk is a drop-in replacement for your 2015-2017 Mustang EcoBoost's stock disk and offers a nice improvement in power-holding while keeping shifting feel and engagement near-stock. McLeod manufactures their 600-Series Friction Disks our of a specialized semi-metallic ceramic material that's segmented on both sides of the disk. The disk comes with a standard 1x23 metric spline count and is 9-11/16" in diameter. The disk can be used with your EcoBoost Mustang's factory pressure plate and flywheel without any modifications. The disk is SFI approved.

Many of high-quality performance parts and accessories require freight shipping due to their size, bulk, or manufacturer's preferences. Freight shipping is only available to the Continental United States (AK, HI, Puerto Rico, etc. are not able to order items that ship via freight service). It takes roughly one to three days for Stage 3 to process a freight order and carefully prepare your order for transit. After our freight carrier picks up the product, a Stage 3 representative will email you tracking information for your order.
Once your shipment has arrived in your general area, the freight carrier will contact you to schedule the actual delivery. Most freight companies can only schedule for a particular day and not a specific time, because of their volume of deliveries.
After your order is delivered, it is extremely important to completely inspect your package and items for damage before signing the Bill of Landing while the delivery personnel are still there. You are solely responsible for thoroughly inspecting your items before signing any documentation. Carefully note any damage to your items or anything unusual on the Bill of Landing. Keep a copy of your papers and contact Stage 3 immediately if there is any damage or irregularities. Damage caused by transportation qualifies you for a refund and/or replacement only if any and all damage is properly documented on the Bill of Landing.
Please keep all of the item's original packaging for up to 30 days in case your product needs to be returned. All damage claims will need to be processed by our Returns Department and require clear photographs of the damage to your parts.
Some of our products are so large that they require the use of a lift gate or dock to effectively unload. Unfortunately, we can only offer free shipping to business addresses with those products. All orders that contain products that require a business address for free shipping will be checked, and if a residential address has been selected as the shipping address, that order will be held until we contact you to either change the address or elicit further payment for delivery to a residential address.
