Complete Front Coilover Kit for your F150 that adds 2" of Leveling

Throwing a set of coilovers onto your truck in place of your factory shock and spring is one of the best ways to help get your F150 prepped for the trail, and FOX makes one of the most effective and affordable F150 adjustable coilover kits on the market. This pair of FOX 2.0 coilovers have an adjustable ride height from 0" to 2" of lift, making them an effective leveling system that also gives your F150 a huge increase in suspension performance, especially off-road. The coilovers come pre-set at 2" out of the box to give you maximum ride height. FOX designs each of their 2.0 coilovers from the ground up to get you maximum performance, improved response, and much better articulation off road.

2009-2013 F150 4WD Fox 2.0 Front Coilover

Built for Performance and Reliability

Each FOX 2.0 coilover is built around a tough aluminum-body, nitrogen-charged coilover shock that's wrapped with a finely-tuned spring that work together to provide excellent suspension performance off-road without compromising your truck's smooth street ride. Both the body and mounts are made with 6061-T6 aluminum to maximize heat dissipation without losing strength. The coilovers feature a 5/8" chrome-plated, heat-treated shaft with a high-flow piston design and valving that's tuned for your F150. The coilover has an internal reservoir design that keeps the specially formulated oil separate from the nitrogen. The 2.0 coilovers have high-quality, redundant seals that make them extremely reliable under even the most extreme conditions.

2009 to 2013 F150 Fitment: This kit will not have proper, bolt-on fitment to a 2009 to 2013 F150 due to changes Ford made to the 2014's front suspension. Call 1-877-578-2433 for more information.

After extensive research, this was definitely the way to go and I couldn't beat Stage 3's price. The look is great, especially after replacing the tires to 33's. IMO, the ride is as good or better than stock. The installation was relatively easy and the Stage3 video further enhanced the instructions but beware, there is an error in Fox's installation instructions. The torque indicated for the bolts to the lower control arm is WAY TOO HIGH. The instructions called for 160 ft/lbs. Suspected it was way too high at the time but proceeded as instructed. Ended up twisting off the last bolt. Subsequently replaced all four bolts (just to be safe) with new ones with standard torque for the high strength metric bolts.

Very impressed with the quality of the Fox Front Coilovers. Installed them myself in about 2 1/2 hours. Ride height for my vehicle is dead level at the factory 1.5" adjustment. Couldn't be more pleased with the results. Handling is improved, I seem to have less front end bounce and less roll when cornering. I recommend this product.

I had previously installed the FOX 2.0 rear shocks. They made such a difference that I knew that I wanted these coilovers. Both Mark and Lou were extremely helpful and quick to respond to my questions and concerns. I lowered the preload on these springs by 6 full turns before even installing them. Needed to use a spring compressor as FOX no longer offers a spanner wrench. This would have been more of an issue if I was going up instead of down, but down was very easy. I did not want a completely level ride, but thought that the factory rake was too pronounced. After lowering the preload 6 turns, I ended up with about 1" of lift on the front keeping it about 3/4" lower than the rear. Personally, I think this looks best, but your opinion may vary. The ride is better than I could have hoped for. Disclaimer: I am not a serious off road enthusiast. The most action my truck sees is weekend trips up into the mountains on a washed out dirt road. I cannot speak to their performance at high speed down trails, that's not my intended use. On the dirt roads they are great. Excellent balance of firmness, control, and ability to soak up bumps. Where these really shine is on the terribly chewed up pavement in the Northeast. Potholes, man hole covers, expansion joints and railroad tracks no longer shift the truck sideways causing uneasy sway. The coilovers perfectly smooth out the harshness of my LT rated tires. Overall a vast improvement from the stock springs and shocks. Build quality seems very good, but only time will tell for that.

I was hesitant to drop this much money to just level out my truck. All of that went out of the window once i installed the coil overs. Everyday on my way to work i cross over train tracks. These shocks handle them like a dream. They are firmer but not rougher. They got rid of that hollow truck bounce. These are worth it if you are on the fence.

Drove with the stock suspension for 6k and another 6k with Ranchos QuickLift. The Fox 2.0 blows them away in overall ride quality. My advice would be just save up the money for the Fox 2.0
