Our Story

Stage 3 Motorsports was born in a run-down, Cold War era warehouse on March 4th, 2004 in Muscatine, Iowa. The initial concept of the company was the product of Bill Lindsay, a graduate of WyoTech, who had decided to use the manufacturer contacts he had fostered during his time in the 1966 Shelby kit car market to start selling ROUSH Mustang Performance Parts to a few friends and immediate acquaintances. Bill worked as an apartment manager while running his newly-formed business that rapidly expanded beyond his small group of clients and was ready for expansion and new avenues of distribution. Stage3Motorsports.com launched in the summer of 2004 with the singular purpose of selling 1979 to present Mustang parts at low prices with great customer service and free shipping to the lower 48 States. We now offer over 5000 Mustang parts and accessories available from our warehouse located in the middle of Phoenix, Arizona.

The site exploded onto the web and has grown to become the largest retailer of both ROUSH Performance Parts and Saleen Speedlabs Performance Parts in the world while also selling high-quality Mustang aftermarket parts from over 90 other major brands like BBK Performance, Steeda Autosports, Cervini's Auto Designs, TruFiber / TruCarbon and many more. Our wide selection of performance parts range from superchargers, exhaust systems to styling accessories all of which allow you to build a Mustang that you can call your own. We keep a massive amount of performance parts in stock, and we ship worldwide to customers around the globe. For our high-priced items (superchargers, body kits, etc.) Stage 3 Motorsports offers financing in conjunction with GE Money that lets our qualified customers to apply for loans with zero percent interest for six months. Financing is available on items over $299.99. The application process can be done over the phone in about five minutes with approvals generally taking around 24 hours. We have an excellent reputation among aftermarket manufacturers and have been the first to receive and test some of the best products on the market including the Saleen Supershaker supercharger that we put on our 2006 GT Project car. Our 2007 GT "T-Roush" project car was featured in an issue of Dub Magazine in a test of Baer's six-piston front and rear brakes. Stage 3 hosts many other high performance project cars owned by some of our best customers and staff. Some of our project vehicles have competed in road racing and drag racing events around the country. We are currently building onto two F-150's with parts from Stage 3 Off-Road, and we hope to create some more vicious Mustangs in the near future. The Stage3 Motorsports family is growing exponentially. In the last few months alone, we have added both Stage 3 Off-Road and Stage 3 Camaro onto our extensive network of websites. Stage 3 Off-Road stocks top of the line performance products for 1997 to present F-150's and 1999 to present F-250's and F-350's including lift kits, cold air intakes and tuners. Stage 3 Camaro provides aftermarket accessories for 1994 to present Camaros with brake kits, exhausts and superchargers currently in stock among many other performance parts. Stage 3 currently adds around five brands per month while continuing to output new articles, how-to guides and other publications to assist and inform the Mustang community about us and their awesome cars. Our humble origins give us excellent customer service philosophies to maintain excellent relationships with our customers, vendors and preferred installers. We are adding on staff to keep up with orders, site changes and shipping and are in the process of moving to a larger space to make our growth more effective. Our site traffic has reached upwards of 130,000 visitors per month, which dwarfs the dozen or so ROUSH addicts that Bill's one-man show used to exclusively serve.
