The death of the carburetor ushered in the era of electronic fuel injection and fairly primitive computer systems to control it all. Car computer systems have come a long way since the mid-'80s and have expanded functionality well beyond fuel injection to nearly every facet of your Mustang's powertrain. Many of the Mustang performance parts available here at Stage 3 Motorsports alter the carefully set parameters of your Mustang's computer system and require new software calibrations to prevent engine damage and other issues.
