Warranty issue: 2011 to 2012 ROUSH Axle-Back Exhaust kit (ROUSH Part# 421127).
Stage 3 Motorsports has become aware of a concern regarding the ROUSH Performance Axle-Back Exhaust kit for 2011 and up 5.0L GT Mustangs (Part# 421127). Several of our customers have reported that the welds between the mufflers and kickover connection tubes have cracked and/or have extensive rust damage that causes the exhaust kit to leak or completely fail. We strongly urge any customer who has purchased this kit to check for cracks on their mufflers and contact us if their ROUSH axle-back kit is experiencing this issue.
ROUSH has determined that the welds are cracking due to a manufacturing defect that has since been corrected. Stage 3, working in conjunction with ROUSH Performance,
will honor the warranties
on these kits and offer
full replacements
for defective parts to be shipped out as quickly as we can. If your ROUSH Axle-Back kit (Part# 421127) has cracks at its welds, contact Stage 3 Motorsports immediately with your order number ready, and we will drop ship new mufflers and kickover connectors as soon as possible with a prepaid call tag for the cracked ROUSH exhaust kit. The exhaust tips included in the original exhaust package are not effected by this issue and can be used with your replacement components.
