How much horsepower can the stock mustang engine hold?

This is our most frequently asked question when it comes to superchargers. Here is our answer, please keep in mind this is just our opinion. The stock 2005-2009 Mustang 3V engine does not have forged pistons, rods or crank. We have seen 550 Horsepower supercharger on stock motors that are daily drivers. This is the highest HP we suggest for a stock engine. There are plenty of dyno sheets showing way more than this on a stock motor, however, you never know how long those engines lasted. We like to use the roush TVS2300 supercharger on 8-10 lbs of boost on the stock engine. This ROush TVS Supercharger will give you 460 RWHP and is completely safe for the stock engine.
