  • Steeda has acquired Tremec's new TR6060 6-speed transmission and now has it available for the 05-09 Mustang.

  • This 6-speed transmission will directly bolt up to the engine block of any 2005-08 3V engine and accepts the factory hydraulic release bearing. A transmission crossmember must be used for mounting. A custom driveshaft is required when used in a Ford Mustang 4.6L V8.

  • The TR6060 6-speed requires a clutch setup with a 26 spline input shaft vs the factory 10 spline clutch. Stage 3 has several options for your needs in our clutch section. Some fabrication will be required for shifter installation. Contact one of our sales professionals for details.

  • Tremec's TR6060 features greatly increased torque capacity over the TR3650 used in production models and 6 forward gears. Gear ratios are 2.97 1st, 1.78 2nd, 1.30 3rd, 1.00 4th, .80 5th, and .63 for 6th gear.

  • This kit Includes everything except clutch. Kit has transmission, transmission cross member, shifter with linkage, shifter pins, and custom 1 piece aluminum driveshaft. Requires 26 spline clutch. Clutch should be chosen based on power level requirements.
