Roush Cold Air Intake
Any 2005-2009 GT Mustang can benefit from this ROUSH Cold Air Intake Kit that add 17 horsepower and 9lbs/ft of torque onto your Stallion. The kit includes a ROUSH air filter, air dam and an induction tube brandished with the ROUSH logo.
Air first hits the air dam which helps keep the unit separate from the engine compartment, allowing cool, dense air to enter the filter giving greater air charge.
The ROUSH filter uses a synthetic nano-fiber material in a hand-poured urethane body that traps particulates and other pollutants from entering the engine. The filter is washable, reusable and comes with a lifetime warranty.
After passing through the filter, air shuttles through the Modular Intake Tub -- made from cross-linked, high-density polyethylene -- which improves airflow to the engine by up to 400 cubic feet per minute greater than the stock intakes by providing a smooth and direct path to the engine.
