This AIRAID Cold Air Intake for the Mustang 4.0L V6 is a simple and elegant way to put more power down at the rear wheels in an easy to install package. This cold air system can reliably add up to 13 horsepower and 10 ft/lbs of torque to your Mustang's rear wheels without the need for a tune. Each intake comes standard with a high performance air filter, specially designed air dam, and an intake elbow that bolts directly onto the stock throttle body. This cold air intake kit is a simple bolt-on replacement for the stock airbox of the 2005-2009 Mustang V6.
The filter that AIRAID includes with each of their cold air intakes is made of interwoven, synthetic nano-fibers that trap harmful particulates more efficiently than standard paper filtration systems. The filter can be cleaned and reoiled instead of being outright replaced. The cross-linked, polyurethane intake tube allows cool air to flow relatively unrestricted directly into your Mustang's intake manifold. Each AIRAID cold air intake comes standard with a composite air dam that seals against the hood and fender to provide the filter with cooler air.
