This two inch cowl induction hood from TruFiber features a rectangular cowl design with sharp angles that accentuate the sharp lines of the 5th generation Mustangs. Trufiber's hood is a direct OEM replacement for the factory hoods of 2005 to 2009 Mustangs.
The hood is made entirely of lightweight fiberglass whose cowling operates as a fully functional heat extractor. Hot engine compartment air rises into cowling before being directed through two vents with stainless steel mesh grills for a quick exit into the slipstream.
Trufiber's kit reuses the OEM mountings and comes with installation hardware and instructions. The latch plate and hinges are reinforced for added safety, and a pre-drilled prop hole comes standard. The kit arrives with a complete gel coat finish.
