Mustang GT500 Shelby BBK Twin 65mm Throttle Body
BBK's 2007-2012 Shelby Mustang GT500 twin throttle body allows you to get even more power from your 5.4L V8. This GT 500 65mm throttle body is the result of hundreds of hours of research, engineering, design and testing. Considering all the time and money BBK invested in this product, it's no surprise that it adds up to 15 rear wheel horsepower.
The engineers at BBK took extra care (and invested tens of thousands in tooling equipment) to make sure their GT 500 throttle body features the same kind of injection molded gears found on the stock throttle body. Ford does an excellent job at making throttle bodies that can withstand the wear and tear of high performance driving, they just don't allow the greatest airflow. BBK didn't want to throw out the baby with the bathwater, so they built this throttle body to same durability standards of the stock component. The BBK unit just flows a heck a lot better, resulting in more horsepower and torque.
This 2007-2012 Shebly GT500 throttle body is CNC machined from 356 aluminum castings for a perfect, no leak fit. The throttle linkages are die-stamped and the bearings are double-sealed. The injection molded gear assembles were designed to work seamlessly with the GT 500's modern drive-by-wire system.
Installation is straight-forward, easy, and requires only basic hand tools. All necessary hardware and detailed instructions are included.
