This performance kit takes two of BBK's best performance products and puts them into a single single package that can instantly add up to 20 horsepower on the 4.6L 3V V8 engine of the S197 with no computer tuning or other modifications required. The kit includes BBK's titanium finished cold air intake and the excellent BBK 62mm throttle body specifically for 2005 to 2009 Mustangs.
BBK's CAI system uses a specially designed heat shield to create a pocket of cold air around the filter housing that is then dumped directly into the Mustang's V8 for a huge performance boost that doesn't require a tune. Each cold air intake has a reusable cotton air filter that can be easily cleaned and re-oiled. The intake has a titanium powder coat finish that offers excellent corrosion resistance and styling.
The included dual 62mm throttle body from BBK makes airflow into the S197's more efficient than the factory throttle body allowing the Mustang to reach new levels of power with a simple bolt-on installation. Each throttle body is precisely CNC machined from 356 aluminum castings and has OEM die stamped throttle linkages, double-sealed bearings and and o-rings for the throttle shafts. The throttle body is a direct OE replacement for the stock variant and can be installed in very little time. BBK's throttle body delivers instant horsepower and torque gains without the need for tuning.
Once both kit components are installed, your Mustang can see up to 20 more horsepower and torque at the rear wheels without a tune. A computer tuning using one of Stage 3's custom tuning options allows the BBK combo kit and your S197 to generate even more horsepower and torque.
