A smooth and extremely comfortable microsuede exterior covers this variant of Corbeau's CR1 racing seat. The two-toned, black and gray color scheme of the top quality microsuede helps to bring out the CR1's sloping bolster curves while adding a stylish OEM look to your cockpit. Each seat has a fundamentally race-oriented design without exchanging performance for everyday comforts. Corbeau's CR1 has a standard lever operated reclining feature that allows the rider to find their own optimum comfort zone. Corbeau builds each CR1 for a nearly universal fit into any vehicle that can accept a Corbeau mounting bracket on either the driver or passenger's side.
The unique bolster design of the CR1 gives the chair aggressive curves while creating full lateral support for the shoulders, kidneys and thighs. The bolsters secure the driver and front passenger firmly in place to minimize movement and fatigue during cornering and other high performance driving. Each seat is stuffed to the gills with Corbeau's high density, injection molded foam that contact forms with heat transfer to offer even more luxury. The seat is constructed around a sturdy tubular steel frame that has a powder coated finish for corrosion resistance. The microsuede exterior is dotted with leatherette patches in high wear areas on the bolsters and seat back to eliminate fraying and other damage. The seat is coated with UV inhibitors that preserves the color and material from sun damage.
The CR1 has two cutouts built into the seat back that allow for the use of standard four-point harnesses. A five-point harness can be used with the purchase of the optional submarine slot from our drop-down menu.
