JBA p/n 1650 headers are designed to fit 1964-1/2 - 70 289/302 (not Boss) Mustangs equipped with 4spd/5spd/C4/C6/AOD transmissions.
The mid-length design of the headers provides significant increases in torque and horsepower throughout the RPM range and allows for maximum ground clearance. Ideal for cars with lowered suspension.

Note: These headers will work with a stock mechanical clutch using the factory Z-bar. If Z-bar is modified or worn use JBA p/n 1650Z.
Starter tubes are included to mate your existing exhaust system to the headers. For best results use JBA p/n 1650H H-pipe.
