The SilverHorse Racing Tru-Billet doors are made from solid 6061-T6 aluminum billets, machined down to an exact fit. This results in a part that is lighter than the stock fuel door it replaces, yet will take just about whatever abuse you want to throw at it. After anodizing or plating, they are hand-assembled using stainless steel hardware for a perfect, no-drill fit. Retention and closing of the door is accomplished with cadmium-plated press-fit magnets and a striker plate that is retianed by stainless hardware, not glue. Installs in about ten minutes using common hand tools, and they are available in a variety of finishes. See below for more detailed images.
