It uses an OEM harness that has been modified for a quick, no hassle installation and beautiful, clean results. The electronics that make this work are safely wrapped and kept from the elements inside the trunk, not out behind the trunk and in the elements.
Installation of this kit takes approximately 15 minutes, using a Torx bit, small screwdriver, and an 11mm deep socket. Comes complete with step-by-step instructions. Nothing else to purchase / nothing else required!
