The size of the Whipple 3.4 Liter supercharger actually first created a problem when installing the supercharger, it wouldn't fit under the hood! So JDM Engineering stepped in and designed a kit to allow you to not only use the stock hood but still keep in tact the factory equipped strut tower brace! The Shelby GT500 is a very special vehicle and the only way to get this awesome supercharger on your car was to change the hood! A minimum of a 3" cowl hood was required and looked quite out of place on the Shelby body. JDM Engineering includes all the necessary parts to fit this 3.4 compressor under your hood! New motor mounts, k member spacers, front sway bar relocation brackets, front springs, and all the necessary hardware for installation are included in this kit and come complete with instructions. Install time with the supercharger already on the vehicle is roughly 4 hours.
