Safer & More Effective Alternative to Traditional Winch Hooks
Off-road recovery can be dangerous without the proper equipment; conventional winch hooks are not safe and smart. They are too small to safely fit between a recovery strap and rattle against fairleads, which can add stress to your recovery strap, cause slippage or even tears. Factor 55 has a better alternative to make your recovery strap last longer, to keep you safe, and to prevent damage a failed recovery would cause. The foldable, lightweight billet 6061 Kaiser Aluminum Factor 55 FlatLink XXL functions rattle-free, weighs only 1.5 lbs, and measures 7.5" x 5" x 3". The FlatLink XXL has a 26,000 lbs max load rating and an ultimate failure greater than 68,000 lbs with its sturdy American design. It works with up to 1" D steel cables and up to 5/8" synthetic ropes. The FlatLink XXL safety attaches to a standard 7/8" or 1" screw pin shackle while the shear pin load self centering spool gives capability for wire rope applications. An optional EPDM rubber guard securely attaches to the FlatLink XXL with barbs and protects its Hawse fairleads.
Compatibility w/ Other Products
This product is compatible with Hawse & Roller fairleads. Because of the FlatLink's sleek 2/75" thickness, it will fit all roller fairlead license plate mounting brackets. 3/8" D steel cables or synthetic rope can be run through the FlatLink.
