BD Diesel Performance Powerstroke Exhaust Brakes

This BD Exhaust Brake simply replaces the stock rear portion of the turbine housing. The casting incorporates BD's exclusive Alumi-Bronze bushing and piston ring sealed butterfly shaft that has proven to stand up to the exhaust emission environment. The brake incorporates BD's exclusive Variable Orifice technology, where the spring loaded piston in the powerful 3'' vacuum cylinder is compressed by the off-set stainless steel butterfly once the peak pressure is achieved. BD Variable Orifice Exhaust Brakes provide superior performance - starting at 1200 RPM all the way up to a peak range of 1800 RPM. It then works to hold on to that level, right through the RPM range.

Fitment: 1999-2003 Ford F250/F350 Super Duty Powerstroke Diesel 7.3L.

Complete Kit: The kit includes a complete wiring harness, vacuum hoses, a heavy-duty vacuum/air pump and a bracket that allows it to be bolted right in place of the stock vacuum pump. This complete kit can be installed in 3-4 hours with no cutting or welding required.
