The system uses a synthetic cable and hawse fairlead for a more reliable pull over competing brittle steel cables.

Each VR EVO 12-S winch is built around a powerful motor and durable case that gives it awesome pulling power and unprecedented reliability. The winch utilizes a Warn series-wound 12V DC motor that combines with the winch's 3/8" synthetic rope to give the winch a total rated pulling power of 12,000lbs and pulling speed of 4' per minute. The VR EVO Series winch comes standard with a cast aluminum, one-piece tie plate that gives the entire winch assembly greater structural strength than tie bars. Each winch has a convertible control pack that allows for upright or low-profile mounting positions and uses a waterproof Albright? contactor to ensure excellent reliability.
