i am trying to determine height off bed to top of tent. i have hard fiberglass top over bed hinged.can you provide measurement?

This is an estimate based on eyeballing our pictures, as we don't have that tent here at the moment. Anyway, we estimate that the tent comes up from the bottom of the bed to 58 inches. From the bed rails it rises about 35 inches over.

I have a 2008 F150 with the 5.5ft bed. I also have a toolbox on this truck as well. Would this tent fit over that box and still work as functioned? Watching the video of the installation, I'm not convinced it would. I can easily remove the box, but I wanted to ask just to make sure. Thanks,

That's heavily dependent on the toolbox. If it's like most and sits on the bed rails, then it would likely have to be removed. It it doesn't, you might be able to get away with leaving it in the bed. However, you'll probably want all the room can get in a short bed truck when using this tent, so you may just want to remove the tool box so you can actually lay down in the bed.

Does the truck bed tent allow for the use of the tailgate pull out step and pull up bar?

Not while the tent is installed. You may be able to deploy the step before your put up the tent and then put the tent on, but you wouldn't be ably to open and close the mechanism with the tent in place.

Can this tent be used with a BakFlip Fibermax bed cover in place (e.g. folded up and the mounting rails in place)?

You can, though fitting the tent on with the tonneau propped open can be a little interesting, and will cause you to lose some amount of room in the bed.
