Look is great, price is fair, visibility is good. If you turn wrenches...you will have fun with the install. If you're nervous about disassembling your pickup...bring it to a pro. Only complaint is that I enjoy the LED outline so much I wish it would stay on with daytime running lights as well. Warning!!! These lights are sexy.

I love these lights. The LED outline is an amazing feature and the switchback blinker is another great feature. They don't put out a ton of light while driving at night, but the look of the light makes up for that. Also, they come with halogen lights, but I switched those out with LED oracle bulbs. I put them in both high and low beam. It was a tight squeeze, but if you want to put in the LED, H7 oracle led are the only ones that will work. Just make sure you don't get the H11 that are in stock headlights, the housing is for H7. Overall, couldn't ask for a better headlight.

Very pleased with the lights overall. If you buy these, expect to add another 100 bucks or so for HIDs or LEDs, the halogens are laughable at best. And then add another 20 bucks for a relay switch if going HID, because the HIDs draw too much power and shut off. Then give yourself a solid afternoon, pulling off the old ones can be frustrating. Easy, but frustrating. That said, they look amazing after all that. The LED bar on the outside I rewired to a separate fuse so they turn on when the truck is on (like they should, but don't. Maybe it says somewhere in the description that they don't, but I missed that part). Take your time, it's not hard to break something when removing so many panel pieces held on by clips. I took one star away due to the LED bars (the main selling point of the lights imo) not working as they imply it should without some fiddling.

Install was simple, I used the instructional video on F150leds.com (best I've found). The lights look bad a$$. My only negative is that the headlight lamp/beam is not LED but rather halogen. I don't do much night driving so it doesn't concern me, the LED strip is nice!

I do agree with others that purchased them that they don't put out huge amounts of light. to me it looks like about 1/3 less than the stock Ford lights. Lights are bad a$&. Like others I wish the halo ran with running lights. I even took to a custom installer in a stuart, FL (Ctm) who said they could wire them ' any way I like' - I wanted the halo to run with DRL but they couldn't do it. Majorly disappointed about that otherwise the look is aggressive and nice. Got oracle low and crystal lux high per stage 3 suggestion and seem really nice however I don't do much night driving

Easy install and a small price to pay to make your truck stand out from the others. I originally thought I would need to purchase the additional LED bulbs based on some of the other reviews I read stating that they didn't seem as bright as the stock lights but they seem to work fine in the city. It's pretty awesome when you have people driving Raptors taking a second look at you when you drive by...these look better!

What a great product! These lights changed the entire look of the front. The quality is what you would expect. What I didn't expect is how much further I would be able to see at night. These headlights made about a 30-40 ft difference in visibility at night- so much brighter! Also, Stage 3 Motor Sports is top notch with their free shipping and handling, customer service and product follow up. I have ordered several products from them, and they will continue to be my ONLY source for f150 parts.

Good product for the price, much more aggressive look, easy to install. Ive put a pair on two trucks, with fender flares and one without, fender flares make it harder, get your self a pop/tab removal tool kit to make it easier. Without fender flares its super easy. I also put in the oracle led lights, big improvement on look and brightness, I had to grind just a little of the metal where the bulb goes into, not a big deal, used a dremel and a shop vac to suck back the shavings as I ground it. I was able to close the dust with all the parts of the led light inside it. Secured the parts inside to a bolt with a zip tie so it wouldn't bounce around inside and damage the led outline parts. Recommend these lights.

Love the look with these. First thing I noticed was that the led trim doesn’t turn on during the day. I read some forums and found through software called FORscan and with a usb to obd2 adapter, you can configure your truck to run the trim lights during the day instead of the low beam headlights. Well worth the $15 it cost for the adapter. I read some of the other reviews about the sucky bulbs these come with so I ordered some led conversions from amazon for $50 for my high beams. The bulbs these come with are sufficient for low beams in my opinion.

Customer Question I have had the lights installed for a few years now. One of my outline strip lights is not working now. Is there a replacement bulb available?

Asked by: Jon Pomaranski - 12/23/2023
Customer Answer The outline is an led strip and is not a bulb you can replace. I would start with checking your connections first to be sure there is power to the outline strip. If you do have power there, than it may be the strip that is faulty. Anzo does offer repair services where you can send the light in, or if you have a local shop that does headlight builds, they may be able to assist with a repair as well.

Customer Question I bought these in 2016 and my low beam bulb has went out. Is there any way to change the bulb out without having to take the whole housing out? What I have seen is this has a stupid clip that keeps the bulb in and the whole light housing needs to be taken out just to remove that clip.

Asked by: Brad - 4/24/2022
Customer Answer You technically can, though it is a huge pain. You can peel back the wheel well liners and kind of reach the low-beam bulb housing and feel around for the locking clip and bulb. However, it's actually easier to just remove the headlight.

Customer Question Read through all of the other Q&As and have a question I don't believe has been addressed previously. Regarding the upgraded LED option from the drop down menu, with the upgrade LED option you offer it was previously mentioned that they will fit under the dust cover without modification. However, is the aim function of the projectors affected by the LED upgrades? I currently have cree bulbs in my OEM reflector housing and they just piss people off with the reflector scatter, the bulbs with the built in fans are to large to adjust the beams lower (have a set of 2.5" spacers installed on the front from you guys as a leveling kit). With your LED upgrades will I be able to adjust the height of the beams to not be blinding people while on the road?

Asked by: Kevin - 12/8/2021
Customer Answer The headlight adjustment screws are on the exterior of the headlights, so you can adjust the beam aim regardless of whether or not you use an LED conversion kit.

Customer Question Will these fit f-150 2015 PLATINUM? If they do not what are my other options?

Asked by: Dan - 5/1/2020
Customer Answer These headlights will not fit a 2015 Platinum. These headlights will only fit F150s with base halogen headlights and will not fit trucks with OEM LED headlights. All 2015 Platinums came with LED headlights. We do have a few headlight options that will fit trucks with LED headlights, but your best bet would be to give us a call directly at 623-434-5277, since there's a few different ones.

Customer Question I just installed mine last week and I have a noticeable dead spot on the driver side beam. I’ve heard of many others having this problem. Is there a solution?

Asked by: Anthony Catania - 1/20/2020
Customer Answer If you're using the halogens included with the headlights, then you may just need to replace the bulb. If you're using an LED conversion kit, then you'll likely just need to rotate the bulb (if possible). Ideally, the LEDs should be facing the 9 and 3 o'clock positions to get the best beam pattern. If you're still having issues, give us a call directly at 623-434-5277.

Answer provided by: Jason@Stage3 (2/13/2019)

Customer Question Whats the purpose for the CANBUS Resistor?

Asked by: Chad - 11/14/2018
Customer Answer The CANBUS Resistor prevents flickering of LED conversion kits on trucks that use voltage pulses to check for dead bulbs. The voltage isn't enough to fire a halogen bulb, but it is enough to trigger an LED conversion kit. The CANBUS Resistor prevents flicker and a bulb-out message. The real issue is that we can't guarantee whether or not you'll need the CANBUS resistors, since it's just the odd truck that has the problem and it doesn't seem like it's submodel/option package related.

Asked by: James D. - 11/7/2018
Customer Answer These headlights can technically accept any H7 LED conversion kit for their high and low beams. However, the only ones that we've personally confirmed won't require dust cover modifications are those available from our drop-down menus on this listing. All others may require modifications of some sort for proper fitment.

Customer Question Would the H7 Oracle 4,000 lumen LED work as high beams instead of the low beams?

Asked by: Jesse R - 5/9/2018
Customer Answer Not without removing/modifying the ANZO dust cover. Unfortunately, the high beam housing on the ANZOs is a lot smaller than the low beam, and the Oracle's heat sink is too large to be installed with at least a dust cover modification. The Oracle bulbs themselves will fit, but it will take some custom work to keep grime and moisture out of the headlight housing.

Customer Question What would be the reason I would need the CANbus? I did order the CrystaLux H7 G9 w/CANbus (2016 f150 5.0)

Asked by: Jim - 4/8/2018
Customer Answer The 4x4TruckLEDs CANBUS harness prevents flashing of the LEDs on trucks that use Pulse Width Modulation to check if a headlight bulb is burned out. Unfortunately, there's no way to tell ahead of time whether a give truck is going to need a CANBUS harness or not. In our experience, it's pretty rare that the 2015-2017 F150s actually need them, but occasionally they do.

Customer Answer There's a few ways to do it. The first review of the switchback version of the headlights goes into pretty good detail about using an off-the-shelf diode to do it. Alternatively, you can cut off the connector that hooks into the parking light bulb, extend the wiring, and then tap it into a 12V constant source of your choice.

Customer Answer These headlights will fit 2017 F150 XLTs that have base halogen headlights. The LED outlines will not function as true DRLs out of the box, and are designed to hook into your parking light bulb connectors. However, folks have turned them into true DRLs with custom wiring.

Customer Question The H7 bulbs that come with this housing have a different connector base than the stock 9005 and H11 bulbs. How is the "plug and play" connection accomplished since they are different? Will this housing still accept an 9005 for high and H11 for low beam?

Asked by: Adam Walters - 12/13/2017
Customer Answer The headlights have connectors for your truck's body wiring on the housing, which adapts the signal for the stock bulbs for you. The stock body harness does not directly connect with the bulbs themselves.

Customer Question I remember seeing a little while back that you guys said the headlight design changed slightly so that an LED headlight conversion would no longer fit properly without modifications. Has this been addressed or will modifications still not to be done to the headlight to fit a LED conversion bulb?

Asked by: Cole - 11/22/2017
Customer Answer There is a slight issue with the occasional set of ANZO lights where the bulb holder hole is not properly deburred, which can make installing a set of LED H7s difficult. However, it's easily rectified if it is an issue.

Customer Question Is there a way to make the LED running lights stay on permanently while the vehicle is running? It is my understanding that they will turn off if the blinker is engaged. I think that is a horrible design and want the LED to run continuously regardless. Is there a way to do that?

Asked by: Matthew G - 9/21/2017
Customer Answer The outline strips do not shut off when the turn signal is engaged. However, they do only come on when your parking lights are activated or when your headlights are set to the on position (or turn on in automatic mode). In order to get true DRL function out of the outline strip you'll need to either cut off the parking light connector and extend the wiring to a constant 12V source, or use FORScan to turn your parking lights into DRLs.

Customer Question Looking to purchase these headlights for my 2016 f150. I want to replace the headlights with HID's. Do you guys sell or recommend a good brand for these headlights?

Asked by: Jason - 7/3/2017
Customer Answer We generally recommend Diode Dynamic's H7 HID Kit for these headlights, though we haven't tried them ourselves and we can't confirm if you'll be able to reinstall the dust covers. Also keep in mind that you'll need two H7 HID kits if you're going to upgrade both the high beams and low beams.

Customer Question Will the led outline stay on all the time (DRL) or does it only come on when the lights are on?

Asked by: keshido - 6/16/2017
Customer Answer The white LED function plugs into your parking lights and will only come on when you manually select your truck's parking lights. If you want true DRL function, you'd need to custom wire them into a constant 12V source.

Asked by: Tyler - 3/10/2017

Customer Question will the outline work as my running day time lights and what led bulbs do you recommend?

Asked by: frank - 2/28/2017
Customer Answer The outlines will not have true daytime running light (DRL) functionality out of the box. They connect directly with your parking light wiring and function as parking lights as standard. You can do some custom wiring to get them to function as DRLs, but you'd need to cut off the parking light connector, extend their wiring, and them tie them into an ignition-activated 12V source.

Asked by: Kyle - 11/5/2016

Customer Question Is there a way to run led headlights and high beams in this without cutting a hole in the dust cap or removing it?

Asked by: Alex - 10/16/2016
Customer Answer You may just be able to notch the dust caps in a corner to run the wiring for the LED drivers, but there's not really a way to get around it, since the insides of the light housings get too hot for the drivers and mounting them on the interior of the light will likely severely shorten their lifespans.

Customer Question Can I put H7 Led bulbs in to replace the halogen bulbs without issues?

Asked by: 2016 F-150 - 9/10/2016
Customer Answer The only issue you may run into when using an H7 LED conversion kit is that you may not be able to get the headlight's dust covers/housing seals back into place depending on the size of the LEDs and where you have to run the wiring for the LED drivers or ballasts (if present). Otherwise, there's really no issue with using an H7 LED conversion kit with these headlights.

Customer Answer The LED outlines tie into the parking lights and don't function as true DRLs. They'll turn on when you select the parking lights on your switch, when you open the doors, or when you turn the headlights on. The only way to make them true DRLs would be through custom wiring.

Customer Question Will these headlights accept the Cree LED bulbs? Or in your opinion do the lights need to be upgraded, are the ones that come it the set brighter than OEM?

Asked by: Londart - 9/6/2016
Customer Answer The headlights will accept most H7 LED replacements and conversion kits without issues, though you may not be able to reinstall the dust covers/housing seals with certain LED conversion kits. Personally, the projector lenses in the ANZO headlights put out a much more crisp and clear beam pattern than stock, but it does have a very distinct cutoff, unlike the OEM reflector headlights which makes it seem like they have less output. In short, I don't think the halogens absolutely need to be upgraded, but I do understand why you want to. Your best bet would be to see how well the halogens do with your truck and your area before making a decision on an LED/HID upgrade.

Asked by: Mark - 8/29/2016
Customer Answer Not without some custom wiring. The headlights come with a plug-and-play connector for the parking light bulb socket for powering the LED strip, so you'd have to cut off that connector, extend the wiring, and then tie them into a 12V source to make them function as true DRLs.

Customer Question How much brighter are these than the OEM halogen headlights? Also how difficult would it be to convert them to HID or LED?

Asked by: Mason - 8/19/2016
Customer Answer Overall output doesn't change much, since that's dictated by the bulbs. However, you do get a pretty clean and crisp projector cutoff that keeps the light more focused. It's not overly difficult to do an HID or LED conversion kit on these headlights, though you don't get a ton of room to work with inside the housing where you'd need to do the connections, and you probably won't be able to reuse the dust covers/housing seals.

Customer Question Will these headlights use factory headlight bulbs? About to upgrade my bulbs to hids till these are available

Asked by: Aaron - 3/18/2016
Customer Answer They DO NOT use the factory H11 or 9005 bulbs. These headlights use an H7 bulb for the low beams and a separate H7 bulb for the high beams. You would need an H7 hid conversion kit to successfully use these headlights.

Customer Question Couple questions: 1) these are a complete package and nothing further needs to be purchased? 2) when will these start shipping? Thanks!

Asked by: Jerel - 3/17/2016
Customer Answer These headlights will be total drop-in replacements for your stock headlights and will come their necessary wiring plugs and bulbs. The latest information we have from ANZO is that the lights will start shipping late March to early April, though we expect demand for these things to be extremely high, and we can't guarantee an exact date.

Customer Question Will this be like the older models where you can switch outo the bulbs for a brighter light?

Asked by: Kirstie - 2/24/2016
Customer Answer If you mean swapping out their baseline halogens for more powerful HID or LED conversion kits, then yes. The only issue right now is that we don't know what exact type of halogen bulbs the kit's going to use as of yet.
