ANZO's U-Bar Projector Headlights have long been some of the most unique aftermarket projector headlights that you can put on your aggressive 2009-2014 F150 build, but ANZO has now added a new twist by adding an amber switchback function to these awesome headlights. The 2009-2014 F150 ANZO Switchback Projector Headlights are everything you know and love about the original U-bars, but they also include an amber function for the U-bars that ties into your truck's turn signals to add an even more unique and awesome appearance to your truck. The ANZO Switchback U-Bar Headlights have a white running light function that ties into your F150's parking lights, while the amber function splices into your truck's turn signals for a sleek and modern look both at night and during the day. The headlights even feature a projector low beam that produces a tighter and more focused beam pattern that is perfect for LED and HID conversion kits.

Dual-Function LED U-Bars with Projector Low Beam in Black Housing

ANZO's U-Bar Projector Switchback Headlights were carefully designed to be drop-in replacements for stock and only require minor wiring for full operation. The headlights utilize a projector low beam with an H7 halogen bulb and a reflector high beam with an H1 halogen bulb. The U-bars are powered by ANZO's dual-function Switchback LEDs behind uniquely shaped diffusion lenses formed into their characteristic "U" shape. The white function is powered off your F150's parking lights with a plug-and-play connector. The turn signal function requires tapping into your F150's turn signal harness. The U-bars and the beams are set inside a black housing behind a clear lens that gives the headlights a great look and fits right in with dark styling themes. The headlights are easy, drop-in replacements for stock and come with instructions.

Fitment: 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 F150 with base halogen headlights.

Base Headlights Only: ANZO's headlights will only work on 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 F150s with base halogen reflector headlights. They will not fit or function on F150s with OEM Bi-Xenon HID headlights.

2012 F150

The Headlights weren't very easy to install but wouldn't call it hard either. However the Low beam upgrade is a waste of money, the bulb is not only very dim and doesn't light up even 5 feet in front of the truck, but also has a big space missing in the light like it is obstructed, while adjusting the bulb can get some more light to show but still leaves a great empty space of light. despite this the headlights look really nice on the truck and i would simply suggest not putting LED bulbs but finding an alternative bulb.

2013 F150

These look very nice on my 2013 F150. The directions included are for a different style light though so there is nothing showing how to connect the Switchback option. There is also nothing on this website showing it either. Some have 2 wires for the Switchback but this only has 1 wire. All you do is get some red wire Tap Splices. Grab your blinker bulb connector. There are 3 wires. The Black is ground (if you have the 2 wire type of Switchback go Black to Black). The middle is the running lights wire. Don't touch the middle one. The 3rd wire (far outside one) is the wire you need to splice to the Switchback brown wire. Works like a charm! Looks awesome!

2011 F150

HEADLIGHTS ARE GREAT. FIT WAS GREAT AS WERE THE LOOKS. THE ORACLE LED CONVERSION KIT THAT IS RECOMMEND WITH THE HEADLIGHTS HOWEVER ARE AWFUL. THE LIGHT OUT PUT FROM THEM WAS POOR. HAD A LARGE DARK SPOT RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME AND IT DIDNT MATTER HOW I ADJUSTED THEM .

2012 Raptor

Unfortunately I can not recommend these headlights. Yes the look fantastic. This is my second set, as the first had so much condensation inside that it poured out of the light when I changed them out. Stage 3 replaced them right away so that was helpful. My biggest disappointment is that the lights barely light the road. I keep wondering if they are even on. I have used multiple LED bulbs in them and hasn’t made a difference. The high beam is worthless. Turn on and the beams go extremely narrow and point up into the trees. The low beams turn off. I’ve looked into LED replacement bulbs but not many are offered. That bulb is a glorified marker light. I don’t do reviews normally but I’ve had these lights for a year and I’m just not happy with these. Waste of money. I would like to say I have no issues with Stage 3, they have been great anytime I have talked to them. Great company to deal with.

They look amazing paired with a switchback led turn signal. Only issue I’ve seen so far is trying to install a led high beam bulb.

Only on the off-chance that your Raptor came with base halogen reflector headlights. However, the vast majority of 2013-2014 Raptors came with OEM HID Projector headlights, and ANZO's headlights will not work as replacements for those.

Is there any easy way to adjust the height of the Oracle conversion without taking the housing apart completely. My conversion has been lower than I would like and I can’t seem to find a resource for adjusting. Any help would be appreciated!

The ANZOs do have a vertical adjustment screw on their tops that allows for some adjustment. However, if you can't get them quite right, you may have to rotate the Oracles to adjust the beam pattern.

Technically, and H1 LED conversion kit will work. That being said, all the ones we've tested would not allow us to reinstall the headlight's high beam dust cover, and you will likely need either a new dust cover or modifications to the high beam dust cover in order to get a conversion kit to fit and seal properly.

Once you upgrade to the Oracle Lumen H7 LED conversion kit,; is it necessary to upgrade the H1 bulb to an H1 LED (conversion) for color matching (white/white vs white/yellow) and better visibility? And if so, do you have an H1 conversion available? Thanks in advance!

It's not necessary for the function of the headlight, and often, with a powerful LED upgrade like the Oracles, a lot of folks find that they don't use their high beams as often. Unfortunately, no LED kit that we have on hand had an H1 that allowed for the high beam dust cover to be reinstalled. While this headlight can take an H1 LED bulb, you may have to make modifications to its dust cover for fitment.

You can use H7 LED conversion kits in the low beam projector. However, we've only confirmed fitment of Oracle's 4,000 Lumen H7 LED conversion kit in these headlights without needing to modify the dust covers, though you can probably install similar or smaller LED kits without issues.

I doubt they'd be better than LEDs, but they'd probably provide more output than ANZO's included halogens.

Do the Putco LED H7 headlights fit under the dust cover of these lights? They look to have a long heatsink. Does heat sink fit under the cover or outside?

That's going to depend on the specific model of Putco H7s, due to the fact that Putco offers several series. That being said, these headlights do have a very larger low-beam housing and can fit a pretty wide variety of LED conversion kits. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 so we can get more specific about what kit you're looking to use.

The LED boards and wiring are entirely different. The switchbacks come with their own leads that need to be spliced into the turn signal harness.

I currently have a HID kit installed into my 2011 F-150 XLT. Would I be able to install these headlights?

Your current HID kit is likely not compatible with these headlights. The 2011-2014 F150s used an H13 bulb in their stock headlights, and ANZO's headlights use an H7 bulb for their low beams and an H1 bulb for their high beams. You can still install these headlights, but you would not be able to reuse your current HID kit.

That is not correct. The stock turn signals will still operate as they usually would. The switchback function of these headlights ties into the stock turn signal wiring via splicing, which preserves all stock functionality.

The only two options we have that use a single projector for both the high and low beams are the Spyder C-Bar Projector Headlights and the Recon OLED Projector Headlight.

Is there any way to re-wire this to have the daylights running amber instead of the cool white? Would you have to plug the turn signal main into the day/parking lights?

As long as you're willing to completely lose the white function of the lights, it's probably possible, since the amber function uses an internal relay to override the white. That being said, we haven't done it ourselves, and we can't 100% guarantee success.
