Loud, Throaty Exhaust Tone

Classic "Stinger" Muffler Design

The S-Type "Stinger" mufflers have a unique straight-through design with precisely tuned tubing that increases exhaust outflow over stock while generating a great exhaust note. While a good deal louder than stock or the Borla Touring Axle-Back System, the S-Type Axle-Back kit is one of the best ways to give your powerful car a whole new sound that will catch everyone's attention without blowing out their ears.

Excellent Quality and Craftsmanship

Like all of Borla's performance exhaust systems, the S-Type Axle-Back kit is built with high-grade 300-series stainless steel. Each piece of tubing is flawlessly formed in a computer-controlled CNC mandrel-bender to give you perfect fitment every time. This complete Mustang Axle-Back kit comes with new mufflers, tubing, and aggressive exhaust tips with a split exit design and will fit onto your factory mid-pipe.

Mustang 5.0 Track Pack

Do yourself a favor and spend a little more money on these Borlas. They sound as a muscle car should and are of great quality. Stage3motorsports service is also great.

2014 Mustang GT

I love them! They sound amazing, and look great. Worth every penny, even if I'd had to pay the full $780 they usually cost. A great performance muffler is factory or better quiet when you're cruising, but screams when you're WOT. These meet that definition and blow past it at 120mph without looking back. If you're looking to put together a full exhaust system you won't regret and your neighbors won't hate you for, this is the place to start. Note on the 2014 install: you'll be doing some cutting and grinding it doesn't mention to reuse the clamp. You'll also need a 13mm socket and an extra pair of hands to clamp the mufflers down at the correct angle. You can save yourself some frustration and time by just removing the muffler mount entirely when swapping. Keep some white lithium grease handy and enjoy!

2012 Mustang GT

These sound awesome if you don't want your Mustang to be obnoxiously loud. At first, having come from a Titan with Flowmaster exhaust, I thought it was a little quiet. But at WOT, it roars beautifully and cleanly. Absolutely no metallic raspy sounds whatsoever. Noticed some increased throttle response after install. Very quiet at highway speeds with windows up. Local exhaust shop charged $50 for install. Took 10 minutes. I probably should have done it myself, since there was no welding involved. Perfect for the Mustang owner who wants some exhaust feedback but doesn't want to wake the neighbors in the morning.
