2017-2022 Ford F250 & F350 Short Bed 6.7L H&S Motorsports Lower Fuel Filter Upgrade Kit (with Aftermarket Tank) | 121006-AT

I did not buy the kit from this website but I cannot write a review on H&S' Website. I absolutely love this product, I did the upper fuel filter conversion last year and just got around to doing the lower conversion. the process is simple but there are a couple steps or hints I wish I would have known to make the process easier, Read the instructions but read the review to help as a supplement!! First when you drain the factory water plug.. yes its difficult to turn, you don't need to depress anything just get a firm hold and twist. the second tip is when you insert the new billet plate, take the red cap off on the "out" port and look up through the tube hole when you're trying to align it. that's the hardest step and that trick will make it super simple. Next, the mounting position is super confusing on paper because the picture is way too close. The new filter is mounted back by where you put fuel in the truck! look under the back wheel well and you'll see a bed bolt.. that's where it goes. Now if you have the S&B 60 gallon tank, I found a great way to install the hoses is to go up through the tank hole where you just installed the billet plate, and then over the frame rail, you'll keep it tucked up safe and clean, plus you'll just make it to the filter connections so there wont be unnecessary slack in the lines. Finally when you go to fill the lines, go get a beer and enjoy your time listening to the system, you'll go through the "hit the start button" process close to 9 or 10 times, be patient with it because it takes time. It looks super clean and you're just adding life to your truck. I hope this helps someone!
