Designed to the exact specifications of your GT500 Mustang, StopTech's SportStop Cryo Drilled Front Single Left Rotor is a high-performance replacement for your stock 13.97" OEM left rotor. With much better performance than your factory rotors, you'll notice a huge improvement as this replacement upgrade is drilled to provide performance stopping power for your Shelby in an inexpensive, easy-to-install kit. Being that this rotor is drilled, the disc will quickly expunge hot gases and debris in a much more efficient manner than stock which provides for more predictable and smoother braking when you need it most. Compared to a solid-surface rotor, this StopTech SportStop Front Rotor doesn't allow gases released by the brake pad to create a cushion between the pad and brake rotor.

Cryogenically Treated To Greatly Enhance Durability

This front rotor is drilled with holes with precise CNC-machining that leads down into its vane network. Rotor longevity, abrasive wear-resistance and strength are ensured via StopTechs deep cryogenic process. Cooled to -300 degrees F and then slowly returned to room temperature, the process permanently and dramatically affects the metal structure inhibiting internal oxidation and increasing thermal fatigue resistance. Cryogenically treated rotors can last up to three times longer than untreated rotors. The hat area on this rotor features a special black, anti-corrosion coating that protects the cooling vanes and mounting surface from rusting prematurely.
