Powerful Rear Brake Kit

Give your high-performance Mustang increased control by upgrading your rear brakes to the massive calipers included in the Wilwood Rear Brake Kit. The Wilwood Big Brake Kit will give you the ability to bring even the most powerfully modified Mustang to a controlled stop every time. Wilwood's series of Combined Parking Brake (CPB) Rear Brakes are the ultimate solution for street and track racing Mustang's that need stop-on-a-dime braking ability at any speed. These brakes use typical hydraulic braking functions for standard usage and a mechanical locking mechanism for use with the parking brake.

High-Performance Rotors

The two piece 12.88" rear rotors included with this kit have a 1" width that provides just enough contact area for the calipers as needed to ensure proper braking without adding weight. Each iron rotor has heavy wall castings and receives a black electro-coating. Wilwood's rotors can either come slotted or drilled and slotted based on your preferences in options from our drop-down menu.

Improved Brake Pads

Wilwood's pads offer an excellent combination of performance and lifespan. Each pad is part of the BP-10 series of performance "Smart Pads" that have low abrasion, low dust and low noise and offer track-ready stopping power. The pads are optimized for use on Wilwood's own iron rotors and caliper configurations.

Impressive Calipers

Each CPB brake caliper features a single piston design and a floating radial mounting that keeps it centered regardless of pad and rotor wear. The caliper is compatible with most cable-actuated parking brake mechanisms and comes with either a black or red powder coat finish available from our drop-down menu.

Installation Note: This Wilwood rear brake upgrade kit requires the use of 17" or larger wheels for proper clearance.

Brake Lines and Brake Cable Required: The CPB rear caliper requires a new parking brake cable. Mustang GTs will require new Wilwood Flexline brake lines or extensive modifications to their OEM or OEM replacement brake lines.
