Borla's "Stinger" S-Type Mufflers are one of the best combinations of aggressive exhaust performance with just the right amount of sound, and now they're packaged into a complete Cat-Back Exhaust kit specifically meant for the new 2015-2020 F150 body style. The kit comes with every ounce of tough F150 noise that we've come to expect from our friends over at Borla Exhaust, without going overboard. Borla's S-Type F150 Cat-Back kit bolts right into place of your factory cat-back system and produces a deep, throaty rumble that you'll instantly notice the second you put your foot on the gas with only a minimal noise at idle or cruising. The Borla S-Type is the perfect solution for anyone looking for a great sound and extra performance without blowing out their eardrums or making enemies with the neighbors.

High-Quality Stainless Steel

The Cat-Back Exhaust System is built around a pair of Borla's famous S-Type, "Stinger," mufflers that were carefully engineered for excellent sound with minimal drone at lower RPM levels. Each S-Type muffler uses a straight-through design that reduces restrictions caused by your factory chambered mufflers for improved sound and a slight gain in power and torque. Each S-Type comes topped off with huge 4" exhaust tips with the Borla logo and a black chrome finish. This Cat-Back system comes with mandrel-bent kickover tubes that connect to your truck's factory mid-pipe, making exhaust outflow more efficient while adding a slightly deeper tone than the mufflers alone.

Fitment: 2015-2020 Ford F150 2.7L / 3.5L EcoBoost V6 / 5.0L V8. Extended Cab, Standard Bed (78.8") Crew Cab Short Bed (67.0)(145" Wheel Base).

Warranty Info: BORLA backs their S-Type exhaust systems with a Million-Mile Warranty.

Wheelbase Fitment: this cat-back kit only fits F150s with 145" wheelbases out of the box. Borla's 157" Wheelbase Adapter Pipe or 163" Wheelbase Adapter Pipe will be required for longer wheelbase trucks. Trimming will be required for 141" and 126" wheelbase models.

2019, 2020 Limited Fitment: this cat-back kit will not fit 2020 F150 Limited models due to their different exhaust configuration. 2019, 2020 Limiteds with require a 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 Raptor cat-back system.

'17 F150 3.5 Egoboost

Took around an hour to install on a lift, including stock system removal. This my 2nd Borla SType, 1st was on a Coyote F150, this one on a Egoboost F150. Typical Borla high quality, everything fits, no surprises. The new SType seems to be a bit louder than the older system, but, still ZERO drone. Doesn't sound bad even on an Egoboost. Stage3 got it to me very quickly, and dealing on the phone with them was very easy. Standup company.

2017 F-150 5.0

This system is awesome! It is fairly aggressive on cold start and heavy acceleration, but otherwise almost silent in the cab (no drone or hum while cruising). Sounds great. Good quality as expected from Borla. The installation of the split rear exit is a little tedious if you want the tips perfectly even and level, but it's worth it and looks great. Consider the side exit for easier installation and/or if you tow a lot.

2017 F150 4x4

Great quality and finish. Pretty easy to install, even by myself and without a lift, maybe 2 hours top. Make sure you have the right size tools for the larger bolts that need to be loosened. Took some extra time to get everything perfect before tightening all the claps. I went with the black tipped split rear sport system, nice bark when starting, but settles down to a nice low rumble. Almost wish it was a little louder, but watch what you wish for. No drone in cab, but you get the rumble when you put your foot down.

2018 F-150 2.7 ecoboost

I couldn't decide for the longest time if I wanted the borla touring and s-type. I didn't want it to be too loud, but I also didn't want it to be a barely noticeable difference from stock so I eventually went with the s-type and couldn't be happier. As others have stated, mildly loud on startup then settles down nicely. You can't even tell you have an aftermarket exhaust system when you're cruising down the road or highway which was a pleasant surprise. You only really hear it if you punch it getting on the highway/pulling out into traffic/or passing someone. Almost kind of wish it was a little louder, but glad its not, I don't want to be "that guy". I'm sure there is more of a growl on a 3.5 and 5.0. I mounted my rear brackets on the outside of the factory nuts to allow me to install the hanger upside down and get the tips at the perfect height to sit a few inches higher and sit nicely inside of raptor bumper end caps. I couldn't find if anyone had done this and got lucky trying it myself. I took the factory nut to napa auto parts and got two more locking nuts and installed them backwards to hold the bracket on. Slightly ghetto/slightly genius I like to think. Highly recommend this system, go with the atak if you want to be "that guy" :)

2015 Ford F-150 5.0L

Highly recommend this system to anyone looking for that aggressive aftermarket sound and look without it being too over the top. Nice aggressive sound on cold start, but it calms down fairly quick. When crusing around on the highway/city its quiet, but can still deliver a clean, loud, awesome sound during heavy acceleration. Install/stock removal took about an hour and a half. This system is plug and play no cutting/welding required!

2020 F150 5.0 liter

Installed this exhaust on my 2020 F150, 5.0 liter. Overall, I'm satisfied. The quality of the product looks legit, and the install itself is relatively straightforward. I was looking for an exhaust system that had some rumble while into the throttle, but wasn't over the top obnoxious, or had excessive drone. This system from Borla provides exactly that. Nice cold start tone, but settles down pretty quick. Nothing in the way of obnoxious cabin drone, but has a really nice rumble while you're on the gas. The finish on the black tips is exceptionally nice. I would have given this product 5 stars, but the alignment of the hangers on the left side tailpipe isn't what I would consider perfect. I had to do some tweaking on the hangers to get the tailpipes perfectly aligned. For the price of this exhaust, these details should have been addressed in manufacturing. That being said, I don't regret the purchase. The price from Stage 3 Motorsports was the best on the market at time of purchase, and shipping was fast. The contents come neatly boxed from the factory, and all necessary clamps and hangers were included. I would recommend this system to anyone who's looking to get some into the throttle bark from their 5.0 liter F150, but doesn't want something that's obnoxiously loud with tons of cabin drone.

2018 F150

As others have said, I was torn between the Borla S-Type and the Borla Touring. I'm glad I went with the S-Type. It is fairly aggressive on cold start and heavy acceleration, but otherwise almost silent in the cab (no drone or hum while cruising). It sounds AWESOME. Quality from Borla is as expected. The installation portion of the split rear exit pipes took the longest. As other people have said, making sure the rear tips are gapped properly is key for appearance, IMO. The rear hangers required a little tweaking. No big deal. I did have access to a lift so total install time was 2 hours.

I am looking at the Borla S-Type Catback dual exhaust w/ black tips for my 2016 f150 5.0. When I click on the item under 5.0 parts it keeps taking me to the 3.5L Ecoboost version. I am unable to locate the 5.0 version.

This listing part# 140615BC is used on all engine options for the 2015-2020 F150 trucks so it will work on the ecoboost and 5.0L truck applications.
