2017-2020 Ford Raptor 3.5L EcoBoost Corsa X-Pipe Resonator Delete | 14396

Installation: Installation was easy enough. I'm not very experienced with wrenching on vehicles and was able to do this with a 3/8 socket set, metric wrench set, a crawler, and a set of ramps from Amazon. Oh... And a spray bottle with soapy water... this is crucial! Total time was about 3 hours, mostly because I struggled with pushing the cat-back far enough back to uninstall the resonator and install the X-pipe. In the instructions it recommends spraying the exhaust hanger grommets with soapy water to lube them up. I didn't bother with this and the cat-back wouldn't budge. After wrestling with it I sprayed the grommets and was able to push the cat-back rearward. Note: There's a necessary step not in the instructions. You need to undo two 10mm bolts on each side, on the hangar bracket at the very rear of the exhaust. Without this the cat-back can't be moved far enough rearward. If I followed all the instructions and knew up front to undo the hangar brackets, installation would probably have been 60-90 minutes. Sound: I wanted a little more grunt than the stock exhaust and that what this delivers. The Raptor sounds more like a performance vehicle with this installed, without making it especially loud. I was worried this wasn't going to increase the volume enough but it was just right. The Raptor is super quiet and refined inside so I think this is a nice balance. You get more note outside, without ruining the refinement inside. I will say it drones pretty badly between 2100 and 2600 RPM. Thankfully with 10 gears it's basically never in this range except when you're accelerating up to speed at about 1/4 throttle. Once up to speed the RPMs drop and the Raptor is quiet again. It also sounds good and doesn't drone over 2600RPM when you're pulling harder. Cold start sound is awesome with this installed, but fades quickly with a little heat in the system. TLDR: In all I definitely recommend this. Installation isn't too hard (even if you're inexperienced), it sounds good, and it's great value for month. It's also really well packaged when it ships.

Corsa resonator delete is just what the gen2 raptor needed. It offers silent cruising and a little bark when on the throttle. Make sure you lube up the exhaust hangers with soapy water to get the exhaust to move enough to fit the xpipe.

The part and installation are as advertised. Do read the instructions, as some OEM parts are reused. Check the part for straightness, particularly if using the LWB extensions. If twisted, it causes fit-up problems with the tailpipes. Note that this exhaust is LOUD when you have your foot in it (moreso than the video suggests).

The Res delete works perfectly with the Corsa Cat back exhaust. Had both installed and I’m overly impressed by how good it sounds not to mention the noticeable performance gains. Would recommend Corsa to anyone!

Very hard to tell difference at idle, even revving while not under load (in park) its not loud at all. When you get on it in gear sounds a bit louder. Install was a bear but was done without a lift. Way too much money for how little sound you gain, though sound is pleasant, not ricey.
