The system comes with a pair of Fox 2.5" Coilovers with remote reservoirs and a pair of Fox 2.0 Aluminum-Body rear shocks that work together to provide your F150 with excellent response, improved articulation, and longer wheel travel to go along with your truck's new ride height. Fox Remote Reservoir Coilovers for Low Fade Performance
The BDS 6" Coilover Lift kit's devastating off-road performance comes courtesy of the Fox Racing dampers that are included in this complete lift kit system. For the front of your truck, BDS includes a pair of Fox's 2.5" Coilovers with remote reservoirs. The coilovers' large diameter combined with the remote-mounted reservoir practically eliminate heat buildup and shock fade under even the heaviest and most sustained articulation. Each coilover assembly is built around a 2.5" diameter shock body made out of a high-quality aluminum alloy. The coilover uses a 6061-T6 hard-anodized billet aluminum piston within a 7/8" nitro hardened carbon steel shaft for excellent strength, durability, and reliability. The coilover's valving is specifically tuned for your F150 to provide perfect performance. The coilover has heavy-duty redundant seals and uses a specialized oil to maximize performance. The coilover uses a spherical, PTFE-lined steel bearing for improved strength and less deflection than a standard rubber bearing.
High-Performance Aluminum-Body Rear Shocks
Helping improve the performance of your truck's rear suspension is a set of two Fox 2.0 Aluminum Body Shocks from BDS. While these shocks may not come standard with reservoirs, their larger diameter and aluminum bodies provide vastly improved heat dissipation over stock for reduced fade during extreme applications. The Fox 2.0 rear shocks are also extremely strong and durable to handle just about anything you throw at them. Each shock has a 2.0" diameter body made from 6061-T6 metal-impacted aluminum with a clear anodized finish to help prevent corrosion over time. The shock has a monotube, internal reservoir design with a high-performance, high-flow piston in a 5/8" hard chrome-plated and heat-treated alloy shaft. The shock's valving was specifically tuned for your truck and comes with specially-formulated oil that helps maximize performance. The Fox 2.0 shock comes with nitrile rubber bushings that resist deflection while keeping your ride smooth.
High-Strength Crossmember and Rear Block Suspension Lift
The actual 6" of lift is provided by a full set of high-quality and extremely strong BDS hardware that is guaranteed to hold up to the most brutal punishment you can make your F150 dish out. The front lift is provided by a front and rear crossmember that are both manufactured out of 1/4" laser-cut steel and come with a skid plate to protect to protect your F150's differential. A pair of precision-machined ductile cast iron lifted steering knuckles maintain your upper control arm angles and were carefully designed to keep a near-stock handling while being much stronger than stock. Bringing up the rear end of your truck is your choice of either a 5" or 4" rear lift block. The 5" lift block gives your truck a slight, stock-style front rake, while the 4" block gives your F150 a leveled or even a slight rear rake, depending on the condition of your rear suspension. The blocks easily install right between your truck's leaf springs and axle and come with a full set of high-quality U-Bolts. Each BDS kit also includes a driveshaft spacer, sway bar drop brackets, a brake line extension kit, an E-Bake bracket, high-quality installation hardware, and detailed instructions.

Carrier Bearing Drop Bracket: F150s with a two-piece driveshaft will require the optional Carrier Bearing Drop Bracket from our drop-down menu above.

2009 to 2013 F150 Fitment: this kit will not have proper, bolt-on fitment to 2009 to 2013 F150s. A version for 2009 to 2013 trucks is also available. Call 623-434-5277 for more information.
Wheel fitment and kit notes: this kit requires cutting your truck's subframe for proper fitment and will not fit factory 18" or 17" wheels. This kit REQUIRES at least an 18x9" wheel with a maximum of 5" to 5.50" of backspace. All 18x9" wheels should be test-fit prior to installation, due to design variations that can cause fitment issues. Stock 20" Platinum and FX4 wheels can be used with 305/60R20 tires.
