Customer Question With this lift can I still use my rear airbags?

Customer Answer Really comes down to what brand air bags you have, but most airbag kits can be used with lift kits, and may just require you to use a air spring spacer to make up the gap caused by the larger rear block that is typically used in lift kits.

Customer Question Can this lift be used in combination with aftermarket spindles such as Rogue or ADD? Or do you have to use the Fabtech spindles?

Customer Answer You would need to use BDS's Spindles, due to the ride height change and the need to correct your Raptor's suspension geometry. If you want stronger, fabricated knuckles with elongated spindles, you'd need to seek out a custom fabrication.

Customer Question What shocks do you recommend with this lift?

Customer Answer In theory, you can use any stock-replacement front and rear shocks, since this kit preserves the factory Fox shocks and coilovers with strut spacers and rear shock extensions. Your choice will depend more on your budget and what you're doing with the truck. Your best bet would be to give us a call directly at 623-434-5277.

Customer Answer We have not installed one of these kits on one of our own trucks yet, though we do recommend a professional install. Maybe someone else can comment as to the actual difficulty.

Customer Question I want to retain my 17x8.5 with this lift is it possible with a wheel spacer ? If so what’s the recommended thickness of the spacer ?

Customer Answer Neither BDS nor ourselves has tested this kit with 17" wheels and wheel spacers, and we can't make any guarantees about fitment.

Customer Answer Unfortunately, you cannot reuse the stock wheels and tires. This lift kit requires an 18" wheel or larger with a backspace of 5.50" in order to clear the knuckles.
