Improved Ranger Ride Capability
This lift kit for a 4WD 2019-2023 Ford Ranger was designed to keep your factory ride quality but still give you bigger, badder tires. You will have more tire clearance and better performance without having to worry about overextending the suspension or driveline angles at full suspension droop, which happens with competitor suspension kits. Competing lift kits wear out their components by putting too much stress on the CV shaft/boot operating at a bad angle. The black e-coated BDS 3.5" Lift Kit fixes this problem to give you a longer lasting suspension upgrade. The ride height is accomplished with a 2.0 coilover, steel fabricated strut spacer and a preload spacer.
High-Quality Font & Rear Lift
A 3.5" lift system is exactly what you need if you want a bigger look with larger tires while maintaining ride quality and handling. The aggressive 3.5" of lift is achieved through the assistance of coilovers, front upper control arms and rear replacement shackles. The 2.0 Fox Front Coilover adds an impressive 3" of suspension for you to squeeze on the tires you need. The 1.5" DOM tubed UCAs give you more strength and suspension over stock components. An indexed ball joint cup allows for reposition of the upper ball joints for better droop travel. Its Moog ball joints and Clevite rubber bushings also allows for durability, quiet use, and corrosion resistance. In the rear, the factory leaf springs are kept and the new shackles offer 1" of lift. You additionally will get a more leveled stance, a fixed rear pinion angle, and more rear suspension travel. and With a tough 3/8" steel material, the shackles will hold up against abuse.
Strong 2.0 Coilovers
This pair of FOX 2.0 IFP Performance Series Front Coilovers have an adjustable ride height from 0" to 3" of lift, making them an effective leveling system to stay scratch-free on rocky terrain. The coilovers come pre-set at 2" for 4WD Rangers out of the box to reduce rake and provide some extra tire clearance. FOX designs each of their 2.0 coilovers from the ground up to get you maximum performance, improved response, and much better articulation off road. It is built around a tough aluminum-body, nitrogen-charged coilover shock that's wrapped with a finely-tuned spring that work together to provide excellent suspension performance off-road. Both the body and mounts are made with 6061-T6 aluminum to maximize heat dissipation without losing strength. The coilovers feature a 5/8" chrome-plated, heat-treated shaft with a high-flow piston design and valving. The coilover has an internal reservoir design that keeps the specially formulated oil separate from the nitrogen. High-quality, redundant seals also has extreme reliability under even the most extreme conditions.
Comes with Fox 2.0 Performance Rear Shocks
Unlike most UCA lift kits which usually come packaged with no more than a couple of spring spacers, BDS includes a set of Fox 2.0 shocks for the rear to help improve rear handling and stability. The Fox 2.0 rear shocks feature a gas-charged, monotube internal design inside a 2" diameter aluminum body that wins you back rear-end stability over bumps in the road, all while seriously improving off-road performance over the factory rear shocks.
Fitment: 2019-2023 Ford Ranger 4WD
For aluminum spindles only: these UCAs will only fit Rangers with cast aluminum spindles, and will not fit Rangers with cast iron spindles. Please verify your truck's spindle/knuckle type before ordering.
Recommended Wheel & Tire Specs: Aftermarket wheels need a center hub bore greater than 93.1mm. 33" to 34" inch tires are usable with this kit. Please note that because of steering knuckle clearance, 285/70r17 or 285/65r18 tires cannot be installed on factory wheels.
Modifications Required: For installation, some drilling, trimming and strut disassembly is required. BDS recommends that a skilled technician installs the kit and a high quality wall mounted strut compressor is used.
RWD/2WD Ranger Fitment: this shock will not fit an RWD/2WD Ranger out of the box, due to slight differences in the RWD truck's lower shock mounts. Replacing or boring out the included bushing sleeve will allow fitment on an RWD/2WD Ranger.
Intrusion Beams: in order to fit 285/70R17 tires, you will require more clearance than the stock intrusion beams provide. Please see the
BDS Intrusion Beams or
ReadyLift Intrusion Beams in order to gain adequate clearance.
