Large Exhaust Ports with Mandrel-Bent Primary Tubes and Efficient Collector

JBA carefully designed and constructed their F150 5.0L Cat4ward shorty headers to squeeze every last ounce of performance out of your truck in a CARB-legal package that drops right into place of your F150's stock manifolds. The headers each feature oversized exhaust ports that aid in clearing your 5.0L's cylinders of exhaust gasses, which lead into 1-5/8" CNC mandrel-bent primary tubes that allow for a much smoother flow of exhaust gasses with less back pressure than stock. The primary tubes lead down to a specialized collector that's fitted with JBA's Firecone velocity spike design that greatly improves scavenging for better performance. Each header comes standard with a 3/8" thick, laser-cut flange and installs right in place of your F150's factory shorty headers. Both headers in this kit are made out of 409 stainless steel and have a natural stainless steel finish.

I'm looking at getting these along with a set of SPD catted Y pipe. Will these mount up to the SPD Y pipes regardless if the pipe OD is increased?

The SPD Y-pipes neck down at the header/manifold flanges and will fit with JBA's Shorty Headers without serious modifications.

Is there any firmest issues on a 4WD model or will they even fit with all the extra stuff for a 4WD

These are shorty headers and drop into place of the stock manifolds. There is no fitment issue on 4WD trucks, and they will fit 4WD and RWD F150s.

I have a 2015 F-150 and I recently bought a Borla S-Type Cat back exhaust system. Will these shorty headers have any problems connecting?

They will not. These shorty headers install with the factory Y-pipe, which the Borla cat-back then connects to. You can install these shorty headers with any cat-back system as long as you keep the stock Y-pipe.

Is there a dyno graph showing any gains for these shortiew

JBA has not provided a dyno, and we haven't independently dynoed them either. In general, you're not going to get a ton of power from a set of shorty headers. You may see 5-10 additional peak horsepower with similar torque.

Is this a reliable product? Does it require a special tune? Is there any modifications required to place this product? How long will it take to install? So for so many questions.

We have not heard of any reliability issues with these shorty headers. No other modifications or tuning are required for JBA's headers. Install is rated for 6-8 hours, and likely closer to 8 on trucks that may have at least some amount of corrosion on their stock manifolds and/or y-pipe.
