This BBK Performance "Black Out" Cold Air Intake System will add unique styling under the hood of your 2005-2010 Mustang V6, as well as improve horsepower and throttle response. Installation is simple and can be completed in minutes with basic hand tools.

The "Black Out" Cold Air Intake adds a stealthy, understated, & different look under the hood of your favorite performance Mustang. As always, it is a direct fit replacement kit with no tune required. Once Installed you will have increased throttle response and some great additional rear wheel horsepower.

In general, a power boost of up to 15 horsepower can be expected with no computer retuning, though using a DiabloSport Tuner or SCT Tuner is recommended to ensure all possible power gains.

50-State Street Legal: this intake is 50-State Street Legal for 2005-2008 Mustangs under CARB EO# D-245-14.

2005 Mustang

After installing this CAI I re-tuned my engine computer via a Diablo Sport Predator tuner. The little V6 came to life with a tune and this intake. The parts fit and work fine. Installation was a breeze. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is because when I ordered this intake,it took a week to get it! I questioned Stage 3 after 48 hours and they informed me that BBK screwed up and said they have them in stock when they didn't. I don't really care who screwed up, just don't advertise 48 hour shipping and than make someone wait a week. I'm not sure I will order again from Stage 3.

which $199 kit provides the best hp results on an 06 ford mustang V-6?

Both of the $199 BBK cold air intakes will offer similar gains in performance. The choice really just depends on what finish you prefer.
