Customer Question When you say "On/Off" driving response, what does that mean? It seems like you recommend the 85mm over the 90mm because of this, but if I'm looking to maximize power gains, wouldn't the 90mm be better? Thanks.

Customer Answer The 90mm throttle body tends to have pretty touchy throttle response in comparison to the stock or 85mm throttle body, which can be annoying during commuting (especially in bumper-to-bumper traffic). Technically, you can get more high-end horsepower out of the 90mm throttle body, but it's not without drawbacks.

Customer Question Would this work on a 2016 with a roush supercharger?

Customer Answer It will not. The Roush Superchargers for the 2015-2017 F150 5.0Ls use a dual-bore throttle body design.

Customer Question Is this compatible with my 2015 F1 50 5.0L? I currently have a roush stage 2 upgrade (cold air intake,dual exhaust and a Roush reflash. Will i need another reflash with this?

Customer Answer You would need a revised tune from Roush in order to use the BBK 90mm throttle body, or another custom tuner.

Customer Question I already have a Roush Intake, will this Throttle Body fit my intake?

Customer Answer The throttle body will fit with the Roush intake, though coupler fitment is very tight. That being said, we almost always recommend using BBK's 85mm throttle body instead, since the 90mm can have driveability issues and a very off/on kind of throttle response that makes tuning difficult.

Customer Question With the purchase of this throttle body, will I have to also buy a tuner to remap the air fuel ratio?

Customer Answer Technically, this throttle body would not require a retune. That being said, BBK's 90mm throttle bodies due tend to have a very on/off drivability even with tuning, and your better bet for a more mild build would be BBK's 85mm throttle body.

Customer Question Will this fit with the Cobra Jet Intake Manifold Package?

Customer Answer It will technically bolt up, but 5-Star's adapter bracket is only the stock diameter, so you'd kind of be wasting your time, not to mention 5-Star's tuning only really accounts for the stock throttle body, and you'd likely need a tune on a chassis dyno.
