Complete Front and Rear Suspension Package that Improves Handling and Performance
It's no secret that the midsize 2019-2023 Ford Ranger doesn't have the stature and ability off-road that bigger trucks have. However, with the Eibach 2.0 Stage 1 Suspension Package, your Ranger can get everything it needs to crush treacherous dirt trails. The Eibach Suspension Packages come with a pair of Eibach 2.0 front coilovers, as well as Eibach Pro-Truck monotube rear shocks that work together to completely improve your Ranger's on-road handling and off-road suspension performance. You will even have enough ride height to squeeze on larger wheel and tire combinations.
Better Performance, 3" More Front Ride Height & 2" Diameter Shock Body
Stock front coilovers just don't perform like they should on your 2019-2023 Ford Ranger. The long list of shortcomings include a ton of body roll on the pavement and too much of a bouncy ride off-road. Eibach's complete Ranger 2.0 coilovers come fully assembled with a new spring, perches, mounts, and hardware which helps add an immediate impact to your truck. For further off-road excellence, you can level your truck and squeeze on larger wheel or tire combinations with the coilover's adjustable 0" to 3.75" of ride height. Performance-oriented valving and a new Eibach ERS coilover spring also tighten up front handling and absorb off-road impacts. The Eibach 2.0s are built around 2" diameter steel shock bodies with a zinc plated finish to protect them against corrosion in practically any climate or application. Each coilover has finely-tuned, application-specific valving that maximizes performance and ride quality. A 550lb-in Eibach ERS coilover spring sits on an adjustable lower perch that allows you to change the coilover's ride height from a 0" factory height to 3.75" of leveling using the included adjuster tool. A 45mm piston and a Nitro Steel shaft go nicely with the coilover's gas-charged monotube design. Each coilover uses CNC machined billet aluminum upper and lower mounts with a great looking black anodized finish. These features provide excellent levels of strength and durability over time. The coilovers drop right into place of the stock coilover assemblies without modifications and you're all ready to go!
Drop-In Performance Replacement Ranger Rear Gas-Charged Monotube Shock
The stock rear shocks of your 2019-2023 Ford Ranger could function better, and Eibach developed their Pro-Truck Sport Series Rear Shock to drop right into your Ranger and provide a massive bump in handling, control, and off-road performance with no hassles. Eibach's high-quality Pro-Truck Sport rear shock was carefully designed to give your truck the rear suspension performance and handling it should've had from the factory. The Pro-Truck shock can even handle up to an additional 1" of rear ride height, allowing you to throw on aftermarket rear blocks or add-a-leaf kits to give your truck the extra rear lift it needs for a great look or improved towing and hauling. The Pro-Truck rear shock features a gas-charged monotube internal design with valving that's finely tuned to eliminate some of the bounciness of the factory rear shocks and keep your Ranger's rear end under better control in aggressive applications. The shock has a 46mm piston with Nitro-Coated rods that give your Ranger excellent levels of suspension response and handling performance. The shock features a corrosion-resistant zinc plated finish with red Eibach lettering for a great look. The shock drops right into place of your Ranger's factory rear shocks.

2020 Ranger
These are a huge improvement over stock (FX4). The bounciness, body roll, and nose diving is pretty much all gone. They feel great over bumps and some light off roading. I docked one star for the install. Eibach doesn’t include install instructions which is pretty lazy on their part. They refer you to the ford tech manuals, which are a lot more involved than you’d need to get in your install. I followed the Fox leveling kit instructions instead. I would also recommend removing the axle nut. I had zero problems with the cv joint popping because I did that. Be sure to also remove the sway bar end link from the knuckle if your instructions aren’t clear on that.

This system removes the float in the stock 4x4 XLT suspension. Improved handling on road and off. Simple installation no spring compressing tool needed. More affordable than most competitors. I like the adjustability.

2019 Ranger FX4
I hated the bouncy feel of my FX4 and decided these would be a great replacement for some light to medium off roading. The stance was greatly improved and so was the ride quality both on and off road. The FX4 would bounce for 3-4 times and now it bounces just bounce and settles down. Eibach adjusts the coilovers from the factory to be a true level for the vehicle so installing them was super easy. These are rated as softer in regards to the popular Fox shocks. They have more travel than the foxes and the fox coilovers use eibach springs use that $200 savings for gas money and take the truck off road more. This was by far the best improvement I have done to the truck and wish I would have done it sooner, I dont have anything negative to say about them.

2019 Ford Ranger Lariat FX4
Ride quality is a much stiffer than I expected, however the ride quality over ruts and potholes is far superior to stock. She rides more like a traditional truck now, which isn't bad but I was hoping for better on road ride quality. I'm looking forward to taking her off road which will be the best test of all.

Great product, easy install for the most part, disconnecting front sway bar links was a lot easier than not. Overall easy install and worth it to me, much better ride and the truck being leveled out is worth it in itself.

2020 Ranger XLT Fx4
This is the perfect kit at the perfect price. With 285/70r17 tires and a -12 offset wheel, looks aggressive and handles much better than stock. I did have to trim intrusion beams. I purchased rear lift blocks, but didn't even need them. Highly recommend this kit!

Do you know what Height the Front Coil Overs on 1920RNGR20STAGE1KIT come preset at? How difficult is it to adjust the height ?
Asked by:
Pep
- 8/28/2020
According to Eibach, the front coilovers come pre-set at around 3" of lift out of the box. Ride height adjustments can be done on-truck using Eibach's included adjustment tool. They're a lot easier to adjust than other options, though adjustments still kind of a pain, since you can only turn the tool about 1/4" turn at a time due to the rest of the suspension and truck getting in the way.

Will this kit work on a 2020 Ranger Fx2 2wd?
Asked by:
Badmonkeys
- 9/23/2020
This kit will physically bolt up to an RWD truck, though you will get slightly more ride height out of the coilovers than what they're rated for on the 4WD trucks, and you may end up having to adjust them down.

do i need to put rear blocks in to make it level with the front if i have the front shocks set at 3". also would i need rear blocks if i set the front to 3.5"? If either of these are a "yes" than what size blocks would i need if the stock blocks are .5"?
Asked by:
Jackson
- 1/19/2021
Whether you'll need a rear block or not depends on whether you want to be "dead-level" and how much constant weight you're going to have in the bed. In our experience, it takes about 3" of front leveling to get a Ranger with an empty bed to a "dead-level" stance, so at 3.5" of leveling, you'd theoretically need a .50" rear block (though a block that size is not currently available. That all being said, if you are at a "dead-level" stance, then any weight you carry in the bed will cause you to be nose-high, so you may want to keep some rake if you tow, haul, or want to run a bed rack or tent.

I have a FX4 Ranger and by far my main goal is to smooth out and improve the on-road bounciness that everybody complains about. A level front and rear would be secondary. The truck probably sees about 95% of its life on the road and the other 5% would be nothing more than some dirt roads or fire roads. No rock crawling, no desert running. Would you recommend these or the Fox 2.0 (non-Roush and non-Ford Performance)? Thanks.
Asked by:
Stiggysaurus
- 7/14/2021
The Eibach 2.0s would be more than adequate for what you're looking for. That being said, you can also probably get the results you want from Eibach's Pro-Truck shocks and struts or Bilstein's 5100s and save some cash.

Are control arms necessary with this lift at 2.75-3” lift? Considering the icon rebound 17x8.5 +25mm wheels. Will the 275/70 clear properly with modified intrusion beams?
Asked by:
Justin
- 10/29/2020
Control arms aren't necessarily required for use at 2.75" or 3" of ride height, especially if you're keeping your truck on the street. However, we do tend to recommend them at heights over 2.5", and you should probably get a set if you're using your truck off-road at all. As far as tire size, you likely won't have to trim the intrusion beams (especially at 3" of ride height), but we can't strictly guarantee it.

Are these springs a big improvement over factory? For primarily (95+%) road use and occasional forestry service roads, is it worth the extra to replace the springs or should I just use the factory springs with aftermarket struts?
Asked by:
Dennis
- 10/8/2022
Whether it's worth it really depends on how rough of roads you're going to be on and how fast you want to drive. If you're on pretty well-maintained forest roads, then just going for strut assemblies would probably be fine. If the roads are pretty rough and you want to maintain some speed (35mph or so), then coilovers would be your better bet.

When using the 2.0 stage 1 package and set at a 2.5 lift on the front ... what size of tire can I go with on the stock 17 inch rim ( 2021 XLT) without doing any cutting or trimming ? Can I get a 33inch tire or possibly a 34?
Asked by:
Andyb
- 5/21/2021
You could feasibly clear a 33" tire. However, the issue with the stock wheels is that you'll be limited to a 275 wide tire, and the tallest they those tend to get is 32" with a 275/70R17. A 285/70R17 comes extremely close to the Ranger's knuckle on the stock wheels, and you'll generally want to run a wheel spacer or aftermarket wheels that will cause rubbing and crash bar issues.

Since Eibach's shocks are a monotube design, you can install them in either orientation.

What is the preset ride height on these? I have heard it is set at 3" wouldn't that make the truck nose up? How will these affect an fx4?
Asked by:
Anthony
- 3/7/2022
According to Eibach, these coilovers come pre-set at about 3" of ride height. That height tends to put the Rangers at maybe a hair higher than dead-level, though they do come with an adjustment tool, so you can adjust them down, if needed. This package will still be a performance improvement over the factory FX4 dampers.

If I adjust the front suspension down to 2.5 or 2" , do I need to adjust the rear suspension as well?
Asked by:
Brian
- 4/3/2022
Not necessarily. There's not technical reason why you would either need to add or decrease rear lift. In general, it takes about 2.75" of front leveling to get the Ranger's "Dead-Level", though if you're towing or hauling on the regular basis, you may want to keep some rake.

Looking to have better ride quality, but I tow a trailer once a week. When towing the truck the rear drops about 1 3/4” leveling out the truck. Will this upgrade give me squat with the trailer.
Asked by:
Jack Hatton
- 10/22/2022
At the coilovers' out-of-the-box ride height, you would likely see rear squat. The good news is that the coilovers are adjustable, so you can adjust them down to avoid this. However, if you want to avoid squat while still maximizing ride height, you'll need some sort of rear ride height or load support upgrade. Give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at
