Moreover, oil vapor has an effective octane of 47, which can degrade your truck's average fuel octane and lead to poor performance or even detonation. BBK's oil separator features a body that's CNC machined from solid billet aluminum with a clear anodized finish that gives it a great look. Each oil separator is built with a multi-stage percolator system that captures and then cools in-bound oil vapor into droplets that are then collected in the oil separator's base. The separator has a 3oz. capacity, and the base is knurled to allow for easy removal and emptying at regular intervals.
