Great Shade at your Campsite w/ 270-Degree Coverage

Camping can provide a fun, relaxing getaway for your family, but sometimes the weather can really zap the fun out of your trip. If there is an unexpected downpour or intense sunlight, you don't have to just hide out in your tent. A four-season ready, 270-degree Nomadic Awning can provide great shade alongside the passenger's side and rear of your vehicle. Once you arrive at the campsite, the awning can be quickly installed onto most standard roof racks with included hardware! With a self-supporting design, you don't even have to mess with support poles because of reinforced oversized hinges and heavy-duty rafters. Three 8.5' pivoting aluminum support poles are included if you want extra support when the wind is too strong. Twist/lock technology and rubber non-slip feet will keep your poles secured. When not in use, the poles can be swung up and stored by Velcro around the arms. Secure tie down points and side tie downs can be used free standing or with a structured pole setting. The coverage uses additional tie down points for water run off so your campsite does not turn into a puddle if rain persists.

Best Construction & Components

The 270 Nomadic Awning was designed to function the best it possibly can with the best materials. The dark gray awning provides 129 square feet, 240" x 157" x 88.5" when open, of protection from the elements. Its 600D poly cotton rip-stop cover provides a weatherproof cover and will withstand whatever Mother Nature throws at it. Structured aluminum hinges keep your awning rigid when it needs to be. An aluminum frame box extrusion also is beneficial to the integrity of the awning. The poles are made with tough aluminum and can be adjusted to your liking. When the system is closed, it is held together with 2 heavy duty Velcro straps. The awning takes up 88" x 7" x 6" of space when stored in a black 1000G PVC travel bag. The bag uses heavy duty large zippers for you to access and close up your awning easily. Tough mounting brackets and stainless steel hardware help you install the awning to your roof rack.

Requires Rail System: this awning fits most roof rack or aluminum cross bars for installation and deployment on your vehicle's roof or bed, and cannot be used on a bare roof or bed. Addi tonal attachments may be required for certain roof racks.
