The stock intake and air box on the Duratec 3.7L V6 under the hood of your 2011 to 2014 F150 chokes off your engine from making more power, and with its output already lagging behind the V8s and EcoBoost engines, you'll need a little something extra to get your truck going. Choice of Powerful Volant Air Filter

Each of these Volant cold air intake kits comes with your choice of a traditional Pro 5 oiled air filter or a specially designed Powercore dry air filter that pulls inbound air through a densely-packed web of synthetic fibers and is resistant moisture while filtering with up to 99.97% efficiency. Your choice of air filter is mounted in one of Volant's specially-designed heat shield assemblies that keeps your filter from getting heat soaked while still providing excellent levels of airflow. The filter dumps its air into a complete cross-linked polyurethane inlet tube that leads all the way to your truck's throttle body to maintain air volume and velocity all the way through to your truck's intake manifold. Volant's coolant tank moves the coolant reservoir out of the way of the inlet tubing to give your truck's charge air proper pathing. The kit comes with all necessary hardware and instructions.
