Greater Airflow For More Breathability

Greatly increase the airflow on your F150, Expedition, or Lincoln Navigator with this intake from Volant. This product utilizes a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which helps to provide a smooth transition into the intake tube for greater airflow improvement over stock. It does that by going through the MAF sensor into the intake tube. Volant's intake is also much larger than that fatory unit but designed to fit securely into your engine bay. Part of the design also incorporates a larger opening to help collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

Includes PowerCore� Filter For Extremely Long Lasting Performance

This intake includes a PowerCore� air filter from Volant. The PowerCore utilizes Donaldson's filtration technology which helps contaminants load on the surface of the filter rather than getting collected inside the filter. This technology is advertised to increased overall performance of the air intake system. It's also advertised to last a lot longer than normal dry or oiled filters. Volant mentions that the media in this filter will not deteriorate as easy as traditional cotton gauze filters. They also stand behind their filters for 4 years or 150,000 miles in urban conditions whichever comes first. This particular filter does not require any maintenance due to the technology used in crafting it.
