Housed in this intake's cross-link polyethylene air box is Volant's free-flowing PowerCore filter, capable of achieving 99.7% filtration efficiency. Volant's PowerCore Filtration Technology works by channeling air into the front of the filter where it is funneled into its fluted design. The channels are alternately sealed, allowing air to enter through an open flute where it is forced to exit through an adjacent flute. This design allows the air to be completely filtered with just one pass through the filter, ensuring optimal filtration efficiency.
