Fuel Maverick 20x12" Wheels On Our 2014 6.7 Super Duty Project Truck

Here at Stage 3 Motorsports, we recently started our latest Super Duty build with a 2014 F250 6.7L Lariat Crew Cab that we fondly refer to as our "Project Ice Box" as we're expecting it to give everybody here in the Phoenix, AZ area the chills when we're done. We were desperate to try out an aggressive set of 20x12 Fuel Maverick Wheels to go along with the "blacked-out" exterior parts we're planning on adding for this build. These black-milled Maverick Wheels not only gave our truck a dramatic change in looks but the kind of handling we were hoping for as well. Going from the narrow stock tires and wheels that came straight from the factory to a much larger 20"x12" size as well as an aggressive -44 offset has given our 6.7L stout turning and off-road ready handling as it now holds down a wider footprint.

In order to get the kind of clearance needed to be able to throw on this set of Maverick 20x12" Wheels, we needed to find a lift kit that would get us the right kind of height as well as get rid of that annoying front-end rake for a much more leveled look. We went with ICON's 2.5" Lift Kit which gave us a ll the height we needed as well as much improved handling and suspension. This afforded us enough clearance to throw on a set of rugged 35" Mickey Thompson off-road tires and now we have a much tougher Super Duty that can start blazing some new trails.

We being, you know, Stage 3, weren't all that content with our Super Duty sitting with just a basic 2.5" leveling/lift kit. So we turned things up a notch by adding a 4.5" ICON Stage 1 Suspension Lift Kit to our truck. The new ride height made our truck look even more mean and aggressive, all while opening up the way for even larger tires than our current 35" Baja ATZs. We even managed to take the truck up to the gorgeous mountain woods of Flagstaff, Arizona, with its new 4.5" lift kit for some romping around:
