ProCharger HO Intercooled Supercharger Complete Kit

Your 2010 SVT Raptor's 5.4L V8 puts down some impressive power, but to make it really shine and stomp all over its competition, you'll need some help. Our good friends over at ATI ProCharger have your back with their complete intercooled supercharger kits that comes with one of their immensely powerful P-1SC-1 centrifugal superchargers and all of the hardware, fuel upgrades, and tuning you'll need to see up to a 60% increase in horsepower and send you light years ahead of your competition on the street, track, or trail. Each of these supercharger kits are carefully designed to put some serious muscle onto your 2010 SVT Raptor in almost no time at all.

Each of these complete supercharger kits is based around ProCharger's P-1SC-1 centrifugal supercharger unit that's capable of up to 8 to 9 psi of boost pressure with ProCharger's tuning. The P-1SC-1 is internally lubricated and does not require tapping your oil pan for lines. The kit also includes a three-core air-to-air intercooler with a front-mount design that keeps the entire system extremely cool to and give it maximum efficiency.

ProCharger's complete 5.4L Raptor kit also comes with 39.5lb/hr fuel injectors and an SCT X-Cal 3 handheld tuner that's preloaded with a powerful PCM tune created by ProCharger. The fuel upgrades and tuning make this kit 100% complete and allow you to put the pedal to the metal once all of your parts are installed and PCM flashed. Each kit also comes with installation hardware and instructions.

Tuner Kit Also Available

ProCharger also provides a tuner kit for the 2010 Raptors that does not include fuel upgrades or tuning. The tuner kit is meant for custom applications only.

The highest octane fuel available in my area is 90. What negative effects will this have, if any, on this system. Also does the tuner come with trans tuning?

You won't make as much power, and you risk an increased chance of knock. Frankly, you should probably run an 87 or 89 octane tune with this kit, if the highest you can get is 90. The kit comes with 91+ octane tuning as standard. What is the [HP] limitation of the engine (bottom end), transmission, drive train, and any other possible weak links? on a 2012 F150 6.2L (Harley-Davidson). Thanks.

This particular kit is meant for a 5.4L V8 Raptor. For 6.2L V8 ProCharger options, give us a call directly at 623-434-5277. As far as max power, the 6.2L and 6R80 regularly handle 675hp 2.9L Whipple Systems without issues, and many folks have taken them beyond with pulleys and headers without issues. The question on the Harley Davidson trucks is their AWD system and transfer case, which could potentially be an issue. Give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 and speak to one of our sales reps so we can get some more info on your truck and how much power you're looking for.

What is the horsepower I can get from this procharger out?

ProCharger quotes a 60% gain in horsepower, which comes to about 190 crankshaft horsepower. Your own gains are going to depend on your fuel octane, engine running conditions, and other factors.

Would this be a bad choice for a raptor that has 120,000 miles?

As long as your engine and transmission are in good running condition, are up to date on all their maintenance, and doesn't have any of the common 5.4L or 4R70W problems (or has had them already taken care of) then this kit isn't a bad choice at all. In general, centrifugal superchargers put less stress on engines than positive displacement units, however, any big jump in horsepower and torque does result in extra powertrain stress, so if you have any doubt as to the running condition of your truck's powertrain or driveline components, you should get them taken care of first before adding a supercharger of any sort into the mix.

do I need to do any other engine modifications to my engine when I install this?

No other modifications are required from my understanding. ProCharger designed the kit to fit and work on a bone-stock SVT Raptor 5.4L.

what all is included in this kit/what else do I need to buy to et it going? could I install this myself or would you recommend a professional shop?

The kit should come with all the hardware and components you need to get the system installed on your truck. Installation of a ProCharger system isn't overly difficult, and is much easier than positive-displacement systems that require removal of the intake manifold and other components. However, the job is rated to take roughly 8 hours and there are a good number of steps that you need to take and make sure to do properly.

Why wouldn't this kit work on the normal F150?? Motor is the exact same right?
