I figured I would give it a while before I decided to write a review. I live in the south and this intercooler has been installed for over a year. I used to have condensation issues but after installing the Wagner intercooler, that changed. I have yet to experience the condensation issue again.

Very good installation instructions, including appropriate recommendation to get assistance when actually installing the intercooler. Huge performance upgrade to turbo boost (5-10 psi Increase in boost displayed on SCT LW+ tuner). However, be sure to also check that the white plastic retainer and the rubber o-ring on the inside of the 3 driver side hose has not been disturbed or you may not be able to connect the hose to the intercooler.

Intercooler was great quality. Bolted right up with no need for modifications. 2 days after instal drove to Denver through Eisenhower tunel. Truck did not hesitate in upper RPM range one bit. On the hotter days here in Utah temps have stayed much lower. Thanks Stage3, you guys were awesome great customer service!

This intercooler is well built and substantially larger than stock. It bolted directly in place of the factory intercooler with no modifications necessary. No programing was necessary to make this work but I did several modifications and programing too. My truck is not the same truck now. It is a real powerhouse and sounds awesome too.

The intercooler doesn't correct/fix the condensation issue. Ran this intercooler for four months then one day the truck started to shudder and turbos fluctuated rapidly. Took the wagner intercooler off the truck and it was full of moisture! Put the stock intercooler back on and no more issues. Got a $1000 dollar paper weight now! Contacted Wagner and they just said never had that issue before of course!

Customer Question Will the Turbo smart supersonic bov with 90° angle fit this on a 2013 f150 ecoboost

Asked by: Fred - 6/13/2022
Customer Answer We haven't tried the combination ourselves, but from my understanding, the SuperSonic kit should work with this intercooler. That being said, we recommend using the new Turbosmart Vee Ports instead of the older SuperSonic kits.

Customer Question Can the Gfb bov be use on this intercooler

Asked by: Michael - 12/4/2021
Customer Answer You'll likely have issues, due to the GFB BOV needing the factory screw location for the bracket that the Wagner Intercooler doesn't have. You may need to do modifications, though you may want to consider the Turbosmart Vee Port BOV.

Customer Question I have the upgraded transmission cooler will I be able to install this Wagner or will it interfere with it?

Asked by: Tosh Stephenson - 5/19/2021
Customer Answer That really depends on what specific transmission cooler you're using. If you're using something like Mishimoto's stock-replacement transmission cooler, you should be fine. If you're using some other transmission cooler or a universal cooler that's taller, you could have issues. Your best bet would be to give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected] so we can get more specific about your transmission cooler.

Customer Question Is this intercooler compatible with the aFe hot and cold side charge pipe kit? I noticed it is compatible with the aFe Bladerunner, so I'm just wondering if it goes with the other pipes as well.

Asked by: Noah - 3/21/2021
Customer Answer The Wagner EVO should be compatible with aFe's charge pipes, since it installs in the factory location.

Customer Question Will this fit a Tial Q BOV?

Asked by: Adam - 9/16/2019
Customer Answer It will not. In general, a TiAL Q Series will require some kind of custom BOV setup on the cold-side tube in order to function, not to mention you'd still have to blank off the connector for the eBOV, block off the eBOV port on the intercooler, and find a suitable vacuum source for the TiAL.

Customer Question Does the 2013/2014 intercooler have a bov flange?

Asked by: Eric - 10/27/2015
Customer Answer Yep. The 2013-2014 Wagner kit has a built-in flange for the stock eBOV.

Customer Question Can the Turbosmart SP Supersonic BOV that you sell be installed on this Intercooler and do you recomend it?

Asked by: Rob - 6/3/2015
Customer Answer We don't believe the BOV can be installed with this intercooler, due to its very tall height. However, we have not tested the combination ourselves.

Customer Question I just ordered the wagner innercooler and am wondering if it fit right in place with no modifications? I should be able to install this by myself with a few tools correct? Thank you

Asked by: Jason Bowlin - 5/27/2015
Customer Answer Yep and yep. The intercooler pretty much just drops into place of the stock intercooler, uses the stock mounts, and accepts the stock hoses. You can use our install video for reference. The only extra bit you'll need to do is transfer over your F150's eBOV, as our install was on an older 2011 truck.

Customer Question Will the installation of this intercooler alone solve my condensation/misfire issue, or will other mods be necessary to eliminate the issue?

Asked by: Jeromy - 5/19/2015
Customer Answer It'll eliminate the problem, since you're starting over with a totally dry intercooler. The infamous EcoBoost condensation issues are caused by PCV blow-by and atmospheric moisture pooling in the intercooler, which can then cause the engine to take a big gulp of moisture when you're on the throttle. The Wagner kit can help reduce the risk of the problem returning since it has a dual-pas design that helps prevent a ton of moisture from being ingested by your engine at once. Still, to totally solve the condensation problem you really need to get your truck up to date on Ford's TSBs, get new SP-534 spark plugs, and probably invest in a catch can if your problem is fairly severe. Honestly, if you're looking to just eliminate problems from intercooler condensation, an new intercooler is a bit overkill. Get your TSBs taken care of, grab some SP-534 plugs, get a Dual-Valve catch can of some sort, and then clean out your stock intercooler.

Customer Question The picture purports to be for a 2013/2014, but there is no place for the e-BOV to attach. Is the picture wrong?

Asked by: Marvin - 5/3/2015
Customer Answer The image is of a 2011 to 2012 Wagner Intercooler. While it doesn't have the port for the eBOV, it's still representative of the intercooler's overall dimensions, shape, and color. We're hoping to get a 2013 to 2014 model Wagner in here for our own images in the near future.

Customer Question Is this intercooler compatible with the afe bladerunner charge pipe? If it is, is it still a basic pretty quick installation? If not then what aftermarket intercooler would you recommend for use with it.

Asked by: Tyler - 1/17/2015
Customer Answer It is compatible with the charge pipe, and installation is more or less the same as stock. The only real issue is that the charge pipe is less pliable than the factory tubing, so it can be a bit tricky to maneuver, but overall, the install is very basic and straightforward.

Customer Question How much horse power and torque does this intercooler add to the vehicle? Is it negligible or significant?

Asked by: Randy 2013 f150 fx4 - 5/10/2014
Customer Answer Without a tune, you'd see some gains in the 5 to 8lb-ft range. With a tune that takes better advantage of it, you could easily see double that depending on the climate. Still, the real benefit of a intercooler is getting those IATs down and keeping them down throughout the RPM range and at a wider range of speed than stock to prevent heat soak and keep consistent power.

Customer Question What advantage, if any, does this intercooler have over the ATP intercooler that you also carry on your website?

Asked by: Johnie Robinson 2013 3.5L F150 - 11/28/2013
Customer Answer Between the Wagner Intercooler and the ATP Intercooler I can't really give a thumbs up to one over the other. They are both great products and both offer great results and performance gains. Either system would be a great pick for any Ecoboost F150.
