Wagner's Competition Intercooler Kit for the 2015-2020 Ford Ranger PX2 2.2L Duratorq TDCi adds cooling capacity for better power outputs and to carry more of your truck's power higher into the rev range. The Wagner Competition Intercooler was designed specifically for your Ranger's diesel engine to thrive. It features a 32% larger frontal surface than stock, as well as 279% more core volume, which efficiently improves cooling of intake charge air, betters heat soak resistance in higher RPM ranges, and boost pressures. The great cooling property is achieved without much back pressure. The kit also uses a powdercoat finish for anti-corrosion and long lasting use.

While it was important to maximize cooling capacity, Wagner designed the Competition Intercooler Kit to keep cool without harming other aspects of your Ranger's performance. Each intercooler cool features a cooling surface that is 142.5 inches², and the entire core is made out of aluminum and optimized for excellent airflow. The intercooler core features a tube-fin design that allows more air to flow through the intercooler and reach your truck's radiator than stock intercooler designs. Each intercooler features CAD designed cast aluminum end tanks that were optimized in CFD simulations to ensure optimal airflow. The inlet and outlet's diameter measures 2.36". Inside the inlet, you can find an incorporated air baffle to ensure uniform intercooler filling. In addition to the intercooler, you also receive two silicone hoses, mounting material and instructions. Just replace your factory intercooler and you'll be ready to win first place in the big race!
