Efficient and Advanced Lysholm Twin-Screw Design

The Whipple W175AX Cobra supercharger upgrade kit is based around a large head unit that utilizes a highly efficient Lysholm Twin-Screw design. The huge 2.9L volume of this supercharger system allows it pour a massive amount of charge air into your Cobra's intake manifold and produce huge amounts of boost pressure to give your Snake a ton of extra horsepower and torque. The Whipple's twin-screw rotor design makes it far more efficient than the stock Roots-Style supercharger system. The two rotors of the Whipple W175AX interlock and force air between them, compressing inlet air before it even leaves the supercharger's casing. Whipple's 2.9L supercharger is driven by an included supercharger pulley that's capable of up to 18psi of boost out of the box. The pulley can easily be swapped out for smaller versions and the supercharger itself is capable of producing a maximum of 25psi to 30psi with the right combination of crankshaft pulley and other upgrades.

The Whipple W175AX supercharger kit drops right into place of your stock Eaton M122 head unit and reuses your Cobra's factory intake manifold and intercooler. The head unit comes with hardware and instructions for installation, but will require an oval, single-blade throttle body for proper installation.
