Our good friends over at Classic Design Concepts make some of the best-quality and best-looking Mustang styling parts and accessories that you're bound to find, and their lineup of "Classic" chin spoilers are some of their most popular components for the 2005 to 2009 Mustang GTs. While these chin spoilers are definitely awesome, we here at Stage 3 do have several variations of the Classic Chin Spoiler that can complicate choosing the one that's right for you. Because the Classic Chin Spoiler is probably our favorite chin spoiler design for the 2005 to 2009 Mustang GT's factory front fascia, we decided to break it all down for you.
CDC's Standard "Classic" Chin Spoiler
The bargain of our CDC chin spoiler selection. Great looks with a price point coming in under $200, and you don't even need to paint it. The 2005 to 2009 Mustang GT CDC Classic chin spoiler is one of the best styling upgrades you can find if you want to keep your stock fascia while giving your Mustang GT an aggressive, sleek look. The CDC basic Classic chin spoiler comes standard with a black textured finish that looks great on practically any paint color or vehicle styling theme. The spoiler easily installs onto your factory front fascia and can generally be thrown on in only a few minutes.
CDC's "Classic" Painted Chin Spoiler
The painted chin spoiler is everything you know and love about the CDC "Classic" chin spoiler, but comes pre-painted to match your Mustang's factory paint color. While slightly more expensive than the standard chin, the pre-painted CDC Classic chin spoiler can actually save you some time and money shopping around for a local paint shop to get the job done. All you need to do is select your Mustang's paint code from the drop-down menu when you order and we'll have your CDC chin spoiler painted, carefully packaged, and sent to your door to allow you to install the part on your Pony right out of the box.
This one of the most unique pre-painted exterior parts on the market for the 2005 to 2009 Mustang GTs, and is a great way to blend the styling of the standard textured chin spoiler with elements from the pre-painted version. The CS-Style Classic Chin spoiler features pre-painted sides, but keeps the center section leading into the lower grille opening the standard black textured finish for an aggressive, two-toned look and more custom appearance. The CS-Style chin spoiler gives your Pony all the good looks of the California Special Mustang's front end at a mere fraction of the cost.
The CDC "Classic" Chin Spoiler Splitter Upgrade
If the aggressive good looks of the CDC Classic chin spoiler just aren't enough for you, then you can grab this awesome 2005 to 2009 Mustang GT chin splitter upgrade from CDC that's purpose-built for CDC's Classic chin spoiler lineup. This sleek splitter adds a vicious, race-ready look to your Pony and will fit any of CDC's classic chin spoiler options. The splitter upgrade does not come painted and features in a flat-black finish that can be painted by a local shop, if you really want. In any case, the splitter upgrade kit is an easy way to really provide a custom appearance for your Pony with a stock front fascia.
In other news: the CDC "Aggressive" Chin Spoiler
The "Aggressive" CDC chin spoiler is, well, aggressive. Maybe even a little bit too aggressive for your average Pony pilot. It's more expensive than the Classic Chin Spoiler and it requires cutting your Mustang's fascia in order to fit. However, this chin does look fantastic when everything is said and done and is a perfect way to show off aftermarket heat exchangers, intercoolers, and whatever other hardware you have hanging out in your Pony's lower grille opening. While maybe not for everyone, the aggressive chin can really add onto a Mustang build for the better.
